Great video as always Tom. The car must have front assist if it’s sensing when a car in front moves off and restarts the engine? My 7.5 golf does that (although it’s obvs got the full adaptive cruise system)
My parents have the 2019 A6 Avant 40 TDI Without the Quattro and they have loved it so far. We have owned it used since 2020 and I also have to say it has held up pretty nicely since. The one issue I have is that the interior build quality isn’t entirely the best with a lot of squeaks and creaks from the doors, dash, centre console etc. over all though, it’s a great car with tons of room and tech and is definitely worth considering over an SUV
I'm considering buying exactly the model you drive. I'm interested in whether the engine lasts. Audi has had major challenges with the petrol engine and oil overconsumption. In addition, carbon accumulation in petrol cars was great. Has Audi managed it?
The problem isn’t the cars size I’ve had 3 range rovers back to back never had a problem parking in central London the problem is most parking bays are a little too small even for a 1 series
Totally approve of this review lol, you are driving around my way in Watford/Bushey!
My dream car ❤❤❤ maybe some day 😢

Rattles and squeaks? I've never seen an a6 do that. I wonder if your car was taken apart in soke way
4.54 30-70 on my 245hp TT. Would never have thought it'd take a Focus RS
I have the A7 2020 45TDI WITH A RE MAP 330BHP QUATTRO AND ITS A BIG COR
I’m looking at a 21 today, in the grey, my wife likes them but the reviews are fairly good that I’ve seen
I know it’s rare but it would be cool to see the 55 tfsi with the V6 to see the differences
Does this have ambient lighting in the interior?

Get the 50tdi version. It's a 3.0L and a v6. Or even the audi S6 TDi

As I understand, 50tdi etc. still have chain issues?
How would this compare with a bmw 330i touring? Similar engines but I wonder which drives better? Current purchasing conundrum!
330i is more fun but i'd say the engine in this is actually more potent.
Audi always know how to make a quality car when it comes to the a6

I hate start stop but in my diesel at least it gives me a break from a rattily noise diesel
Can you do a X3m comp
This or an sq5? I do not like SUVs, but the 3-litre engine is enticing.
I thinnk the Q5 is one step down luxury wise. When you also don't like SUVs I would go for the A6.
@@xPentag0n Thanks. I decided to overcome my SUV reticence and ordered an X3 M40i. It's a shame there isn't a spicy 540i available in the UK.
@@lgx2410 I'll Test Drive an A6 40TDI quattro next Tuesday but I'm a wagon guy and drive a lot of Autobahn 😅
Good luck with your car!

I just don't like the idea of a 2.0L 4 cylinder in that size of a car. Much rather have the 3L V6.
Then get 55tfsi
I'll be test driving both the 45 tfsi and the 55 tfsi in the 2021 & 2022 A6 soon, was going with the 45 tfsi but i guess we shall see.
