What a great video on the subject! First of all: That is one tight fit in your driveway. You bought your property to size, did ya? 😁 I also had to replace a few fueltanks in my wrenching days - always the source for great entertainment. 🙄 When customers brought their vehicles in, we always told them to be on max. 1/4 tank. After dropping the tank, we used compressed air and a brush to clean all the dirt, sand and grime. Before refitting the tank, we emptied it (less weight to contend with during the install) and always had a couple of 5 gallon jerry cans for that. I do ❤that makeshift retainer ring wrench and will definitely adopt that to my tool box. 👍 Great show, Sam and Andrew! 😊 Stay safe! 🚐☁🍀
How do Sam. That was proper funny sticking the Dub logo on the van. Wouldnt work on mine though as nobody would ever believe mine was a dub LOl.. Good of you to do the bits on Andrew's Vee(cough) sprinter. When Im solvent I'll book you to redo my electrics LOL ( deffo not kidding) dropping a diesel tank is deffo not something I'd relish doing but neither would I want a tank full of diesel inside my van for my heater like some people do. Its deffo a job for someone who knows their stuff-which is why I got someone else to do mine. You did a grand job for Andrew! Bessy regs-Kenny
I only had one job to fit the stand pipe, but thought we could get it all done in the same day so just cracked on with it as we were have a good day 😁👍
Hi, it might be a silly question, but when you have reinstalled the fuel tank do you have to bleed the fuel line to the engine? Great video by the way 👍

No silly question here mate it's a self priming system so no bleeding required
