I really, really hate how career events are time-limited. I'm a college student, so I tend to binge-play on breaks, and then not play for a while. Having a ridiculously short standard career mode with limited-time events is so incredibly dumb.
Same with battle passes in games in general. I have no idea why I even bought them at some point. Didn't even have time to complete them. Total waste of money. Gaming these days isn't fun anymore, they've just made us part of their money making machine.

Why has the issue with the Daytona Sports Car layout's correct pit exit being blocked off - an issue which has existed since FM6 in 2015 - still not been fixed in Forza Motorsport?

The game pass monopoly. Xbox swallows up developers and throws them at the game pass. True innovation is hard when you gotta meet quotas. The process becomes kinda soulless as half the dev team probably doesn’t even know what the difference between v6 and a v8.

And they proved they were competent with the improved physics. if they wanted to get back the feel of racing games, fucking hire a racing aficionado or car enthusiasts like they did with FM4. If they were to rerelease FM4, and just make updates to the physics and graphics and add all the new cars that have since come out, it could EASILY go for full price (or maybe even more. I bought the ultimate edition that came with the metal case and booklet. Still cherish that purchase and occasionally thumb through the booklet) and NO ONE would bat an eye or complain. Because they'd be getting a solid racing/driving experience you can sink hours into. There is something to be said when the last great hit from a developer....is from 2 console generations ago.

It’s very clear to me that nobody at turn ten has ever even watched a single real race. Cars that just came out of the pits and or that are a lap down will race you as if their life depended on it, and they’ll ram your multi million dollar race car with their multi million dollar race car, or slam the breaks in front of you in a corner just to screw your lap over, all things that NEVER happen in real racing. In fact, if you did some of these things in real life you’d never be allowed on a racetrack again.

We should be able to start a clas action lawsuit against game developers for deliberately releasing unfinished products for full price and then employing slave labour to find all the bugs. Companies like this literally think the law doesnt apply to them.

Makes no difference the damage was done 11 years ago and xbox never recovered, what exclusives xbox has they are almost always full of game breaking bugs and updates that fix one issue but create two more, then fix two issues but create four more. M$ needs to take a step back and ask "what are we actually doing" they can't win with exclusives thats very apparent as their exclusives suck, so just buy the biggest dev/publisher and sell those games on rivals hardware.

Sure, sony still has better exclusives but there’s still hope for microsoft if they don’t fumble the bag this year on the exclusives as there are several promising titles that are rumored to come out. They definitely do need to get their shit together for sure though as xbox as a platform has incredible potential that’s just being wasted by microsoft
Every sim/simcade racing game needs the green hell imo. Just like every one of those games needs Le Mans. Too legendary and significant in racing history to not include!
The pit exit thing is one of those little things that have put me off of playing this game entirely. It’s like that at several other circuits and it’s incredibly frustrating and so easy to just not have that way
Developers and game studios shouldn't be given congratulations for fixing things that never should have been a problem in the first place. Played all the Forza titles for over 15 years, this is the only one I've refused to buy based on it's state and lack of quality in all aspects of this unfinished game. Please play some more Crew Motorfest, friends and I have been having a lot of fun over there.
Replays don't work on longer races. We just did an 11 lap race at Indy followed by a 26 lap race at Kyalami. No one's attempts at saving the replays worked. The R8 was nerfed to 550 HP. It's still very good, but in comparison to cars like the Ford GT, Merc GT3, Porsche RSR, C8R, M8. The NSX is still OP on the straights, so no surprise you weren't catching it. the 18 Lambo is basically a clone in performance of the old R8, but harder to drive. The 15 Lambo is a rocket ship at low to med high speeds. Has poor top end and handling, but nothing catches it in any sort of drag race down a straight.

i dont understand how a game with so many problems is allowed. Made by a AAA company and yet there are bugs that are stupid and shouldnt exist. apparently there is no form of game testing before they launch out the updates. Like how do you have a replay system, with a pause button that does nothing?
As a developer I can say that you can't even publish your product to customers with known bugs, and these bugs are clearly visible just after launching the program, they aren't even hidden which means that they didn't even test the game...pathetic
Yeah, there was just no love put into this game. When I put my stuff out into production, I want it to shine. Then again, I have worked with teams where I’ve only added features and done enhancements, but the overall product was a turd

The thing I hate the most is these top 3-4 AIs will always lead the race without making any mistakes. The rest of the AIs will just brake check you around the corner. I have to really push my way to the front in the beginning in order to have a chance to win the race.
Either you get to p2/p3 within the first lap or no podium for you, you can do the race of your lifetime and still you can’t reach them. Freaking hate it too.

I still prefer GT7 but FM6 is pretty darn close behind. No one is interested in FM6 anymore as far as I can tell. I make UA-cam videos and it would also be hard to make a living off of making FM6 videos today. :/

It won Racing Game of the Year because accessibility settings are more important than making a good game (or really, product marketing > product quality).
I know this is pretty much everyone's complaint, but I have been looking forward to the new Motorsport for years. I'm not majorly fussed about the old car models etc, I just wished the game worked as intended and didn't have the stupid upgrade system. Don't get me wrong though, I'd still love if it had a proper career mode and was actually "built from the ground up". Pity Forza seems to be going the way of Need for Speed and just turning into a money maker. At least most of the modern NFS titles are playable and still enjoyable.
Ah yes, the r8 was too fast in a straight line, totally not like the v8 supercars, the 2 super trofeo lambos and the Ferrari challenge weren't aswell. Good job forza.
GT4 and Forza 4 were my last console racers before jumping to PC. Every so often I see the state of type videos like this on my timeline and just peek to check things out. This once titan of the racing genera…reduced to ashes.

To be fair a slipstream doesn’t guarantee you are just going to catch them if you have a bad exit or they have a setup that favors straight line speed . Especially in a gt3 car
I'm still having lag and crashing issues in menus and especially in the car select screen, and I'm playing on a Series X 😭😭 genuinely this is the most disappointing racing game to release in a long time, next update just needs to be all bug fixes and no new content because how do you enjoy new content if none of the game wants to work properly man

It's kinda doing the same thing on FH5 for me except on loading my cars up to swap cars it takes for ever loading them up and when it finally does load up the game crashes it would happen 5-6 times in one game session very frustrating and it fully syncs
I keep waiting for a reason to come back to this game. I guess I'll keep playing GT7.... This is so depressing as a Forza fan since FM1. GT7 is my first Gran Turismo. So far, im having more fun playing GT7 than I have in FM since FM4. I would rather play Forza, but currently there is no reason to play this game over GT7 or literally any other racing game.
I must say, with Al honesty that I haven’t experienced any issues regarding crashing or bugs.. only got stability issues, low fps with a good pc. Idk if the problems on console are worse
This game, even with these updates, still looks incredibly arcade like with the handling and how the cars react to things. Guess thats what happens when when all the focus is put on making the game be eye candy rather than a functional thing

I almost moved to Forza a few years ago due to how disappointed I was with GT Sport. Looking at Forza today I can say I'm glad I didn't lol

For me and many others Forza wont launch past the first splash screen since update 3.0 and now update 4.0
I might be alone here but ive had 0 issues with this game. 🤷♂️ It hasn't crashed once in the month ive been playing.
I'm on series x and it works pretty good for me. Yes there are bugs fix adjust ai cars and Penalties.

God I'm so happy I didn't buy this game lol. Knowing how broken it is. I kinda was disappointed with fh5's map compared to fh4,but definitely not as much as I would have been with this one. So for fh6,if it's not in Japan,I'm definitely waiting to see nick play and review it before buying.

To be fair a slipstream doesn’t guarantee you are just going to catch them if you have a bad exit or they have a setup that favors straight line speed . Especially in a gt3 car

I'm still having lag and crashing issues in menus and especially in the car select screen, and I'm playing on a Series X 😭😭 genuinely this is the most disappointing racing game to release in a long time, next update just needs to be all bug fixes and no new content because how do you enjoy new content if none of the game wants to work properly man

It's kinda doing the same thing on FH5 for me except on loading my cars up to swap cars it takes for ever loading them up and when it finally does load up the game crashes it would happen 5-6 times in one game session very frustrating and it fully syncs
the daytona pitlane has been like that since fm6 lol
I keep waiting for a reason to come back to this game. I guess I'll keep playing GT7.... This is so depressing as a Forza fan since FM1. GT7 is my first Gran Turismo. So far, im having more fun playing GT7 than I have in FM since FM4. I would rather play Forza, but currently there is no reason to play this game over GT7 or literally any other racing game.
Not gonna lie, the free-cam in freeplay bug would be a great feature for racing game replays
I must say, with Al honesty that I haven’t experienced any issues regarding crashing or bugs.. only got stability issues, low fps with a good pc. Idk if the problems on console are worse

This game, even with these updates, still looks incredibly arcade like with the handling and how the cars react to things. Guess thats what happens when when all the focus is put on making the game be eye candy rather than a functional thing
