i wonder if the spectators are aware as to how dangerous that harrier maneuver is ? it takes a very well trained aviator to achieve this correctly. if there is any issues with the engine when performing it, things could get catastrophic quickly. It was dangerous in the Harrier, not the F-35. The 35 is fully fly by wire, so in a hover the pilot can take their hands and feet off the controls and the plane will maintain that position automatically.
What? Was that actually a sonic boom with that first high speed past after going to the cockpit? Looked to slow to be mach 1, but... unless someone flicked the mic?

It was the explosion pyrotechnics on the ground going off as it went by. Didn’t expect it so I couldn’t catch it.
