Now THIS is how we get out of the gate! Ripping, roaring, and running The Loop! May not have been a picture-perfect day, but you made it work AND got some great wing vortices and vapor clouds to boot! I really enjoyed this. Thank you for your efforts and this post.
That “Hi Mom” sign makes me laugh every time. I’d love to make it there someday and fly the Colorado flag. It’s where the Air Force Academy is. They would recognize it. We are very proud of it.
The sound of the F-35 is so recognizable to because i grew up next to PAX river Maryland where they did the testing of the B and C and they flew over my house quite a bit. Must admit i kind of miss it. Great video, love the work keep it up 👍
Amazing shots and so dramatic, many thanks Dafydd... I remember having just topped out from climbing the Watkin Path on Snowdon in 2019, hearing a huge aircraft coming towards me from the North West. Looking up to see the magnificent Boeing C-17 Globe master. It was so low, a site i shall never forget.
WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!! appreciate the wide view of folks taking pics, so focused, so serious. but that one lady, jumping and wavin, love it! wish i could be there too. thanks for the work.
I was one of the serious….ish photographers still jumping like a little child inside. A great day with many passes a good way to start the year in the mountains
Yes, it sure as heck beats doing the calculations! I could watch all day and all night. Because I used to have to do calculations all day and all night 🙂But wonderful aircraft and great pilots. And someone knows how to take pictures.
I had this channel come up about 10 years ago. I love to fly. It's the best. My favorite is the Canadian RAF F18 banked with it beautiful flying and paint job!!. I believe it was 2020. Don't remember, but the best!!
Great video and photos. I must get up to cad west one day. I have done cad east 3 times. Was that all in one day? Looks like they were blowing the cobwebs off after the Christmas break.
Lovely vids, thanks for posting. I always think the Hawks look the sportiest going through, but for sheer grace and power it has to be the F15. Oh, and I do miss the Tornado....
These are so Kool woW as I stated before beautiful pictures. Is this normal for over their? Maybe just maybe I can win the lottery and go see them. What's the odds? Yea.. Thank you for sharing these videos! By any chance is there a storyline about this area?
Happy New Year to you and yours! Stunning footage as usual, thanks for sharing. Would love to make the trip there somehow - one of these days. I bet it's incredible to witness that in person. Cheers, all the best 👍
Happy New Year Daf, stunning work as usual, cracking passes and pictures to aspire to. This has just confirmed it for me, i really need to get back over for a few days 🏴👌✈️🇺🇲👍👏👏 ATB Andy
Wow, what a way to start out the new year. Looks like the pilots were as excited as the photographers, they really got after it. Once again, two of the finest in the world, amazing pilots and the best photographers in the world.
Brilliant. Thanks. That's whetted my appetite to visit again. My last visit was just before covid I stayed in dollgelau for 5 days and unfortunately had 3 days on the trot of no show. Couldn't belive it when I started driving home to Ramsgate I could hear the roar of the jets. Gutted. Must try to get back 2024.
Many thanks for watching David. That’s typical of the Mach loop. I had a friend fly over from America a few years back and all week he saw two hawks and a chinook. Other times it can be great.
The area is used for low level training although hawks and Texans may chose to use it as part of their route when returning to RAF valley on Anglesey. Thanks for watching
YOUR CHANNEL IS THE BEST!!!!!! IN SIGHTS AND SOUNDS!!!! AND YOU CAN'T BE BEAT!!! LISTEN TO ALL OF THAT MARVELOUS AND GLORIOUS THUNDER CUTTING UP DOWN AND AROUND IN THAT MOUNTAIN PASS!! AAUUUUGGGGUUUAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
@@devinjonathan5681 If you freeze the video frame as the F-35 banks towards the camera at 2:55, there is the RAF Roundel on the wing rather than a USAF star, but you can also see the large closed door for the lift fan intake behind the cockpit. The USAF F-35's don't fly the STOVL version so don't have that feature. 👍
Happy you enjoyed it. The only thing to do is turn up on a weekday and hope the jets do also, a bit like fishing. A great buzz when they come around the corner ✈️👍
2024 and Fat Amy has more new lipstick caked on. To each their own in this subjective world of avionics appreciation. Of the modern era planes I've encountered, I'm not taken aback with Amy as with others.
Hi mate I would like to ask and I know you probably get asked alot, but where is your filming location? As I want to go and watch these jets and all other manor of aircraft for the very first time! I've not been yet and would love too!
I really enjoy your videos. It would be interesting if you put a time stamp in a corner of the frame, so we could see how much time these passes take to complete. Thanks.
Always awesome at the Mach Loop! So cool! I guess the locals get an advisory when flights will be happening and can stick earplugs in, but does anyone tell the sheep? There's a lot of grass around so there must be sheep, right? Poor sheep. Oh well, they'd better just get into fast low jets like us humans I reckon.
There is no busy day but keep an eye on the notams and this should give you an idea if they are using the airspace. It’s no guarantee but some patterns do emerge. Be prepared for long days with no planes and just enjoy the scenery. Good luck! ✈️👍🤞

Indeed 👍

We love to see flags displayed in the cockpit. I’ve seen many university flags along with stars n strips and many more 👍
Amazing start to 2024! Incredible shots of some awesome aircraft 😎

The vapor trails are insane...jeeesch

I used to attend airshows years ago, but this would be a rush on another level. Great job!
Happy you enjoyed it Chris.
Thanks for watching.
With the F35, it’s not just wing fluff, it’s whole-jet fluff. Such an impressive airframe on so many levels.
Too many r o t c memories to count
Loved hearing the radial engine sound among the jet engine sounds! Plenty of action too!!
Happy you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!! 👍
I always love watching real life examples of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.

back on the case Daf ?! so glad you were there to record this amazing session !
Thanks Fred, it was a blast! ✈️✈️👍
Lucky with the visibility for the first day’s flying! Sound of propellers - v - jets is like hearing steam trains - v - diesel: kind of sentimental 😊
The welsh David captures so much amazing footage. Thanks for the effort and for sharing
Many thanks and appreciate you watching ✈️👍
Great start for the year Dafydd! It looked like the perfect day for vapor formation too. Sound and video is spectacular as always.
