- The 2024 Spanish Grand Prix wasn't the most entertaining race in the world, obvious by how many times Sky Sports had to pretend there was rain in the area throughout the race. But we still have plenty to talk about this weekend, in particular McLaren, who were on fire! In more ways than one...

To be fair to you Will Yuki only got Danny in Q1 cause he had a couple of tows on his last run, also DR had a great race considering how frickin slow the racing bulls were this weekend!

Because he’s getting out of the car what anyone but Max would get out of it. And he’s a known quantity. A jr would likely crash the car/be at the back.
Cause Red Bull want's 2nd in the WCC so that they can get more of that wind tunnel time.

Huh? Why would Red Bulls be mad about Antonelli? All that drama proves is that the original rule was made as a response to Verstappen. Great compliment. Confirms he's the best. Was a great and enjoyable GP. Good amount of tension. McLaren clearly a great deal faster and better on tires but worse on drivers and strategy. Newborn Ferrari.

The reason Perez got resigned is because unless you’re max verstappen - that redbull is actually coming in where it is - as far as speed and drivability is concerned. And Checo is reliable and keeps trying to get more out of it… a jr would basically be fighting Logan.
They can’t put a jr in that car. Because it’s too hard to drive and would cost them a fortune in crashes.
Nah, Lawson would drive that car and drive it well. Hope he gets a practice session soon to prove this...

I loved that race, seeing max and lando hotlapping in the race was awsome, seeing the gap go down and the strategy game. They had a battle every lap, only ofc virtual but they where hotlapping as hell, specially Norris, so cool
Watching Lando do his utmost to keep Max behind and letting George through both of them reminded me of Damon try and push Michael Schumacher off a turn 1 in Aida in 1995 and let Alesi overtake both of them (behind Couthard).
The cheapest ticket at Silverstone is €65.01, but thats to park your car!! Austria grandstand tickets are only €5 more...

It was a second screen race. Pop it on the second screen and do something else, occasionally glancing over whenever there's a battle.
That Megaman 2 music at the start. That brings back some memories.
Some overtaking with the undercuts/overcuts leaving drivers out of position until their race pace shook it all out. Norris losing pole on lap 1 and then fighting his way to P2 was the most interesting part of the race for me.
How about Verstappen overtaking Norris in the first corner and then Russel. While driving a slower car... And then winning the race in a slower car. That wasn't interesting for you?
There is something really wrong with Mclaren strategy, they are constantly trying to overcut Verstappen and race after race we end up Lando Chasing Max like an asshole for las 15 laps to see him crossing the like 1-2 seconds in front. Logan cannot crush every race to bring out safety car.
Yeah I'm not sure what they were thinking waiting to pit when it was clear as day that lando was losing significant time on the overcut

@@tiffanya4636 Well we do remember how Lando decides on strategies, they should not let him. He has a pace this season , sometimes better than Max Mclaren has to put on big boy pants and try to use this potential to full extent.

A few things I wanted to point out... Mercedes have always been quick here during the ground effect era but then the car doesn't work at any of the other races but I think it will work better now after Canada.
Whilst it's good what McLaren have managed, I really can't stomach Brown. But its now getting tiring hearing Norris' complaining when he doesn't win since Miami.
Not a bad race in the end for DR in the schitt bull in the end. Either he or Yuki would be quicker that Perez, but not as quick as Jos would be to break someones nose if they sign anyone with a scintilla of talent. 7/10 race.
Why ? I don’t understand why ppl are saying this. His situation now is far worse carrying the team, no support, the others in his neck.
It was a good race. Not a great one but there was something always going on and some real impressive passes from a few drivers with High Marks going to George Russell for that Turn 1 pass for the lead on the outside of Max and Lando! That's a highlight reel for sure.

Good to see F1 drivers having road rage like us dummies. Except we don't drive multi million cars. !! FYI this channel comes up first of the 4 I watch (so the algo doesn't kill me with F1). The Algo likes you a lot I guess as I'm just a fan of the channel
