In high school I got smoked by a Reatta in my ‘88 ford escort. That classmate in his moms car was a real baller.

Unpopular opinion I still think these are awesome looking cars
The best (and worst) part of a Reatta, is the T-Type CRT dash.
My buddy's dad had the Regal T-type and it was beyond cool with it's monochrome tube touchscreen!
A Reatta showed up at an HPDE I was at once. It retired mid-day with all 4 brakes melted...
For the record of it is a series 3 it is an L32 not an L67
Everything that makes it a terrible sports car makes it a fantastic winter beater. FWD GM cars on studded tires do work! Imagine cruising around in a blizzard, top down, wearing ski gear, blasting Waylon or Zeppelin, snowboard/skis ratchet strapped to the deck

U oughta get get a Reatta and drive it to the Regatta, while reciting Ferlinghetti's Junkman's Obbligato : Let us disappear in automobile graveyards and reappear years later picking rags and leaves from our hair; let us not wait for the cadilacs to carry us triumphant...I'm selling everything and giving away the rest.
