Thanks your guide got me there on my first device running windows 11 and docker. It was great i'll probably setup my PI's and proxmox in the future too.
Very well explaining the whole process from beginning to end. I got my wyze cams setup and wonder if I can also setup my wyze cam that's located in different locations. Not the sane wifi as my computer. Thanks in advance!
Absolutely you can. Check out this video where I take my Wyze cam on the road to hotels and it will still work along with my cameras at home. ua-cam.com/video/qfdBnw_zHA4/v-deo.html
Thanks for the video @BlueMonkey! I was able to finish all the step except after the API ID and Key process... its asking for the username and PW. I am giving the credentials thats my actual WYZE details and also on the command of "docker run -e WYZE_EMAIL=bla..." I can see on the terminal it detected/showed my camera names there...Any suggestions would help!
Thanks for a great video. Do you have instructions on how to record the video to a NAS? I am actually thinking of installing Proxmox on my NAS that already has Docker installed. Is that doable?
Thanks for watching and for the positive comment! Stayed tuned as I am planning on doing a video on recording to a NAS. Your post just moved it up my priority list.
Are you running Proxmox 7.x? Proxmox 7.x is running off the Debian 11 kernel so it will not support Debian 12. Upgrade your Proxmox to 8.x which is Debian 12 based.
