ROOSEVELT AVENUE is a main thoroughfare in the New York City boroughs of Queens.
Roosevelt Avenue is well known for its diversity of cultural representation, ranging from Indian to Latin American, while in the 2020s, Downtown Flushing is undergoing rapid gentrification by Chinese transnational entities.[8] More than three hundred languages are spoken along the street, and the neighborhoods it passes through are described as the most ethnically diverse in the world.

For the title, name of the streets, I use the free software Da Vinci Resolve.
And believe me ... people see me !
When I went to NYC for the first time I went to Queens but I didn't stay in this area. In my city of Toronto we dont have a neighborhood that is mostly made up of Hispanics I i wish we did. Its awesome to see different people from so many nations in one city. The walks was enjoyable I wish I was there and look around.
Mate being in a wheelchair, from the UK I wish one day to visit New York, what you are showing me is fantastic, makes me feel I am there myself. I like the quality of your video footage, and the sound quality is great, it really picks up the energy and buzz of New York. way you mark things up with info, on where you are. sometimes I have to pinch myself, and tell myself I am not really there. New York or South America Reunited?
This neighborhood has been a Mexican & south American strong hold for decades. Yes there are some more people & vendors but the vendors are the result of the NYPD & City hall refusing to do their job's an enforce permits.The other option is to let anyone set up a stall to sell merchandise anywhere. I want to see this on 5th ave.Remember every major corporation supports free travel and no borders so let them deal with the competition. Corporations won't live up to their slogans thought. They will jyst move out like San Francisco.

Not many Mexicans even on Roosevelt Ave mostly South American hispanics. But this really might be the only place in the city you'll find Mexicans.

I don't have any issues with the neighborhood since NYC traditionally had ethnic neighborhoods.
We has little Italy, Jewish area,China town,York Ville was majority German,Spanish Harlem,Harlem
Hell's Kitchen mixed Irish PuertRican and that was just Manhattan. Starting in the late 60's they started gentrification and mixing policies. It took 40 years but by 2000 most of the neighborhoohs were gone ,replaced by high rise buildings. What is left of those neighborhoods is a block or two for tourists. Society seems to want to go back to neighborhooh's at least that is the impression I get from media to pop culture as Race is once again a major deciding factor in everything, sad really.

@@JulienInNYC The reason I am asking is I have a squatter tenant living in Whitestone Queens NY that jump into the house without my consent and still living there for free without any consquences or fear near 3 years. I am not a landlord, just a single family homeowner, only to rent out single family house for a short period of time. I have a stipulation of settlement for the squatter tenant to leave August 15, 2023. The guy still refuses to leave. I found out the squatter tenant is running a company (JC & JB Corporation) and cell phone business from my residential house and drives a brand new 2022 fully loaded Dodge Durango. I am waiting for the eviction warrant to be signed, so I can schedule a Marshal to physically evict the squatter tenant. It is now looking to be going into 2024 because the court system is slow walking the eviction process. The squatter tenant took over the house when I rented to a family of 4 and the husband proceeded to hand the squatter tenant the keys. The family disappears and put my cell calls to voicemail. I was thinking of posting a video of this squatter tenant and making this squatter tenant famous. Thank You. Han.
