Morning Chad brilliant shave lovely soap I’ve not tried yet had my eye on the Rose scented one I would like big fan of that scent.i also have the Rockwell 6s it’s fantastic so it is.i also use plate 4 first 2 passes then finish with plate 2 it works a treat for me always.yesterdays SOTD was Rockwell 6s feather blade 3rd use Peregrino shaving brush.Trumpers Rose shaving cream Fine bowl in red.post shave was witch hazel.Green wood Dsquared 2 aftershave finished of with Clarins hydration post shave balm.have a great rest of the wknd And the week ahead all the best to you! 🙂👍🏻🙌
Great shave Chad! The Rockwell 6S is an excellent razor, it was my main workhorse. Going back to it every now and then. Btw the plates are from P1 to P6, as the name suggests 😉 Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Cheers!
Martin de Candre commands it's price because it's a bit of wet shaving history. Their fougere fragrance is the one that apparently commands the greatest affection. And the shave as ever was great. Nicely considered and assembled products!!!
@@ChadShaves yes I sympathise with that perspective. Our hobby can be an expensive one for sure. Probably having 'a' soap given its price is a good strategy though I'm sure in the past I saw them selling sample sizes too but it was said even then that they were as rare as hen's teeth.....!! Great shave, Chad 💈 That’s a bummer your jar is plastic, my Fougere scent is glass. I agree that even though it’s a great soap, the true value you get with the high price is how long a jar will last. You said 1,000 shaves possibly and I believe that! I’ve had maybe 6 shaves with mine so far and it’s only decreased a fraction of a millimeter. Have a great week 👍
Exactly! It will cost more for MDC but last far longer than 4 soft artisan croaps, for the same overall price. MDC has none of the face food extra stuff but if you use a balm after then all is good. Cheers.
Nice one Chad, it’s definitely a good soap, I have used it before. I wouldn’t buy it now at that price, not when you can get a tub for £20 ish. But it’s good stuff. Have a good week Atb Paul
