The numbers of viewers are going up fast. Glad you’re seeing the Sun again now. This looks like a top class soap, that’s a tiny puck to lather from that was a great job.
Johnny, are you dipping the brush into your water and relathering as you go along? I tend to lather all in one go, and have issues with the lather drying out as I shave.I see from the amount of work you are putting in that I need to spend more time lathering up. I’m taking only 20-30 seconds maximum at the moment!
No I have never relather in my life! Do you have a good enough brush? Maybe you use to much water when you load the brush on the soap? To much water dry out the soap during the shave. Hope my tips can help you my friend
Johnny I’m using a big Italian Gem boar brush, maybe I should squeeze out a little more water before I lather. Cost of this soap in England is £44 per 200g.. I’m currently using Tabac, Arko, Cella and Proraso soaps. Maybe I should try something a little more expensive without spending too much straight away. Can you recommend a good ‘bang for buck’ soap in the 10-20 Euro price range please?
@@owenross1289 None of those soaps can take water. The brush I dont know anything about so I cant say anything about it. I have one boar that is not good but I have another one as I used in todays shave that is very good. I would recommend you Signature Soaps as I reviewed in my previois video. English artisan soap that is one of the very best out there. Cheap as well, 12 pund for 200 g!
Those omega boar brushes are excellent and so cheap. I have the 10065 that I bought for just €10.50 shipped from Connaught Shaving and it performs so well and even after two years it looks like new. Never sheds hair after initial phase.
Nice vid. Those boar brushes are good for hard soaps. I have one that is too big, it's for head lather but it consumes lather. BTW the razor went back to the seller, as much as I wanted, I could not get the bloody blades to center......sadly. Cheers, have a nice week. Deems like they are but so is also my synthetics. I can load any hard soap with them very easy and they dont consume so much lather as an as big knot of boar does I've noticed. However this small boar knot is enough for face shave in my opinion. I find bigger knots then 22 quite unneccessary for me. Sorry about the razor but you did right. To much money of not be satisfied with it. Wish you a great week ahead my friend🌞
Good to know that this soap is in the top league for you. I have never tried it so far, but i have one or two samples of MdC soaps here, waiting to be tested. I am quite confident that I will enjoy the quality. The scent is another chapter. 😁💈👍

I will take hand soaps out of its packaging and let dry for a couple of weeks too to harden it even more and it lasts longer.

I haven't tried it on shaving soaps as yet other than some that are in Old Spice mugs uncovered. Seems they do harden.
