Just wanted to wish you the very best of luck and really hope you enjoy your time in Ireland! Ireland is more diverse now but still a way to go - it’s improving all the time ❤️ My favourite months here are April-June (bursting with flowers and Springtime-life and days are just very very long!) and September (just a lovely month - often weather is beautiful and it just seems to have a golden glow) I do think COVID has affected friendliness - I think you might have had several invites to peoples homes by now in ‘normal times’ I wish you the best and look forward to your videos 🤩🇮🇪🇺🇸
Food quality in Ireland would be considerably better than it is in America. Food regulation in the EU is much stricter than in the US. I hope your stay here continues to be a positive experience.
Hi, great vid! I hope to get an updated video soon! I am very interested in Ireland so hearing impressions after a year+ of living there would be great! :)
Wonderful presentation. I hope your experiences remain positive. I wish you all the best. I flew over Ireland years ago on my way to Rome. Now, as an African American married 42 years to a Jewish American male, I definitely would love to bring my spouse to Ireland. Blessing to you.
@@sethy335 Fine, but why EXPORT it? As far as the vast majority of Irish people are concerned, be ye black, pink, yellow or Argyll pattern, you are all just Yanks!
It’s ingrained into our culture and it’s a unique experience to be a person of color in the US so we look for others who share our experience to help us anticipate what to expect when we embark on new adventures!
"Diveristy"? Got to be joking. For over a thousand years Ireland was about 99.9% WHITE Irish and it is only in the last few decades that there has been a change and then a total transformation and ruination of the country with HYPER "diversity" and the curse of Multikultism and all the attentand ills it bestows on a country. Or in particular countries that are nation states with a long and settled popuation and ethnicity. You seem to think of yourself as "Black" yet you are clearly not Black but rather mixed race. probably no less 50% European like the first mixed race two term Amercan President. Do you suppose that if you went to any country in Africa, like say Nigeria, or Kenya (opposite sides of the continent) there would be little or any "Diversity" or any White populations? Don't suppese you think these countries need more White European , Germans, Frenck, British etc etc? While the USA the "Black" population is suppised to be about 13% (probably smaller of mixed race people are not noted as "Black". As for the superfical and common myth you have repeated about Dublin- South and Dublin North. Here is the FACTS, 1 North Count Dublin is much bigger than South County Dublin 2 North Dublin City is far smaller than South Dublin city- it is more than twice as large and in terms of population. Try walking from Dublin Citth Centre to Dalkey, etc 3 The socio econmic dive of Dublin is NOT North and South as often thought, it is EAST and WEST with the more afluent areas f the entire city being along the Dart line on either side. Contrast Malahide, Clontarf, Howth for example on the north side and the likes of Sandymount, Killiney, Blackrock etc on the south side, Again with the South side of the city stretching all the way to Bray in Wicklow county. 4 In terms of the non Irish population in the North inner city compared with the south inner city, the concentration is greater in the North but again the South is far bigger and has many areas. See how many Irish there are along the South Circular Road. Always weird to see people from America who happen to be , or identify as "Black" concerned with how many "Black" or "Coloured/ Non "White" perople thee are in a country that for more than thousands of years was 99.9999% White, which is the case for Northern Europe in particular up to only a few decades ago. Ireland has now aproaching 1 % "Black" or mixed race people with also countless nationalities and ethnicities. Whereas the UK for examle in London at least has about 7%, if I am not mistaken and White British are now a minority of the population in London, offcially. Imagine Lagos or Cairo having a minority of Nigerian (Black) or Egyptian (Brown) people in their capital city? Never going to happen I think w can assume. Good or bad is another topic.
This was an aggressive comment to a very chill video for a woman trying to share her unique experience. In US race is ingrained into our culture so OF COURSE we would consider that as important when discussing moving to a country that is overwhelming non-diverse as you repeatedly point out over and over while chastising her for mentioning race. And making a huge point about her not being of full African descent is not relevant in the US. If your skin is darker you will be treated the same regardless. There’s no different or special treatment just because you are mixed race. And that is true for mixed of any background (black, Asian, Latino). I’ve been considering a move to Dublin because my family on my mom’s side is Irish however I am mixed and identify as mixed/black. I will reconsider in light of your comment of the “ruination” of your pure white lands. So mission accomplished buddy! I love diversity everywhere including in African countries even though you are just deciding for all black people that we don’t like diversity in Africa. If you represent the people I’d be dealing with in Ireland then I’d rather move elsewhere. I met so many awesome Irish people who seemed welcoming but if my mere existence as a person with a different skin tone in your vicinity represents ruination then that’s pathetic and Ireland is not the place for me.

Hey! Great video.. welcome to Ireland 🇮🇪 🙂❤️
No AC would be a deal breaker.

Why does everything have to deal with race with American people
Media and education in America drill it into children ceaselessly now: white folks bad, diversity uber alles!
because it plays a HUGE role in the United States especially for POC unfortunately
