- Bomba, a traditional dance and music style in Puerto Rico, emerged around the 16th century, mixing sounds brought by enslaved Africans with those of Indigenous Taíno. “It’s a fingerprint of Puerto Rico,” John Leguizamo says.

I just love my culture, although I was born and raised in Buffalo New York I used to always talk to my grandmother she was telling me about the culture, now my grandmother is from Spain she moved to Puerto Rico at a young age and quickly adjusted to the culture I love you and miss you and thank you for all the wonderful stories of Puerto Rico
Well so sad to tell you that we are a disappearing culture since wealthy white Yankees are gentrifying and displacing Puerto Rican families out of Puerto Rico so they can stay with our paradise.
