If an Influencer and a Pro-Boxer were to fight, it should be the Influencer calling out the Pro and stepping their game up to be competitive with the big dawgs. It should never be the other way around. Professional Boxers, people who've grown up with combat sports in many different ways, shouldn't be stooping down to the Influencer Boxing level and calling UA-camrs out. That's straight up bullying.

He got dragged into Influencer Boxing by these UA-camrs who think they could beat him, so I don't blame him for playing the game. I think the whole bring in Pro Boxers into influencer fighting defeats the entire point of Influencer fighting. The reason KSI VS Logan was so awesome were the stakes associated to two huge youtubers fighting. Theres a reason people are more interested in a KSI VS Jake fight then a KSI vs Tommy Fury fight
Not rlly more people are I trigend by ksi vs fury to big names I uk. Tommy brings ther boxing side and fury fans that's why the most successful jake fight with numbers was with Tommy. Not a youtuber like gib or a star like nate robbison

I’m more interested in ksi vs tommy. Two undefeated boxers is much more appealing. And to see if a UA-camr can beat a pro boxer. Be interesting to see how tommy copes with ksi unorthodox style. I think jake and ksi both coming off wins against pro boxers would set up nicely for their fight

@@MeMelon well these guys do what is most financially rewarding for them and their brands. If misfits go down a route of a more professional set up. It will open doors for another organisation to capitalise on the market space of low level fights if it’s wanted by customers/consumers. I think misfits maybe thinking long term, as they may not want to be pigeon holed by only having novices on roster in case influencer boxing becomes a thing of the past. They got a long contract with dazn and may want to have the worlds best boxers under misfits. You can see how prime went from being marketed by influencers, to now professional athletes and sports teams, plus influencer marketing still. They probably want to do similar with misfits.

It's pretty obvious that Misfits uses AT as a hitman. When they need someone taken out so that they don't potentially mess up JJs arc they send AT.
I believe that with Anthony Taylor, Kenny is a perfect match up for him. AT has fought the pro fighters, Tommy Fury, Chris Avila, Idris Virgo, and he just can’t win. Then when he fights the influencers, Rak Su, that dude on Global Titans, he smokes them. Anthony Taylor needs the super good influencers, like Salt Papi. Like King Kenny now. There’s a narrow margin of who AT should actually be allowed to fight.

On paper, kenny seems like he has a chance against an ex mma guy. In reality, no influencer with barely any experience beats AT. His clinching style, attributes and combat experience is just too much for any influencer. Tommy struggled a lot with AT. Even though idris dominated, it wasn't an easy fight and he struggled at times. Everyone's just underrating AT again

I think people with professional combat experience shouldn’t be able to fight for the influencer belts. Period. Particularly if you’re not an influencer outside of fighting. But people with professional combat experience are welcome to fight our people as a good test of their skills. Make the fight happen, but no belt on the line.

@accountnew7030 that's one among the vast options out there. I'm not pointing out any single fight, but it's blatantly obvious that misfits operates with alot of biasness. And they tend to force people to adhere by their views and stand by their decisions,and not really accepting of constructive criticisms.
A company should not operate by feelings, and favouritism.
Speaking for myself , only on rare occasions there are fights on misfits which people are really invested in, and the fights are evenly matched. Hence the need for the influencers to push the fight massively and why the misfits are direly forcing the fighters to post and get people invested.
Misfits should give the fighters who deserve a shot at big fights their due respect and make those fights happen, rather than making random fights and trying to get people to be vested in it ,by employing fake beefs and cheesy contents around it .

I do think if an influencer seems prepared and is up to the challenge to fight a pro (with the approval of coaches), I think we should let them. Also, if the pro wins but the influencer puts up a decent fight or the fight is close, I think there should be some leeway on the perception of the influencer's "stock" in the influencer boxing scene, as they did take up a good challenge fighting someone with pro fight experience (IMO of course)

No, the answer is no. Pro combat sports athletes like Anthony Taylor should be fighting pro combat sports athletes. It sucks all the fun and competitiveness out of influencer boxing. I don’t care about Anthony Taylor, Rahman, or Bamba vs any influencer. Salt papi was a fighter people were super interested in watching then Mamschild Taylor fed him to AT and no one really cares anymore.

It's mainly that his first fight was against Temperrr. Most influencers fight bad opponents in their first fight but Temperrr is actually okay. But I think mainly they're talking about Sensei who is up there with the best in the scene. Kenny was also only training for less than a year so fighting someone like Sensei is very impressive.
So If an Influencer wants to test himself? Ok, fine...but if it's the other way around (Tommy & Idris) then NO, not cool. It's pretty much bullying.

I think an old school boxing mindset would be better, a loss means nothing, what people look at is your skill. A loss to a high level opponent can teach a boxer loads lot at Canelo after Mayweather, James Braddock a.k.a the Cinderella Man 25 loses and he fought the Heavyweight world champion Max Bear who had recently k illed a man in the ring and just put in hospital for two weeks 6ft 6, 85 inch reach, 263lb primo Canera. Yet 190lb James Braddock using stick and move something he learnt from when he lost in his first title fight was able to beat Max Bear.
Anthony Taylor’s presence in this scene doesn’t make sense
I like the jarvis fight not only bc its influencer vs influencer but it also helps to show the exact level of both fighters. Jarvis has a point to prove and has only lost to gib who is top 5. Kenny has shown great improvement but fought some questionable guys in nate and winderson. Jarvis beating kenny puts him back at the top of contenders and kenny beating jarvis shows hes for real.
I really don’t know how else to say this but Jarvis vs Kenny will not be close…at all.
There’s about a 10 inch reach difference and Kenny is arguably the best influencer at using his reach advantage, add onto that Jarvis gets tagged a lot, this fight will be a literal beat down like Kenny vs nunes was, just a horrible stylistic match up.
There’s a reason mams is desperately trying to avoid this fight cause he knows how one sided it would be, Wade and sensei know too but they don’t wanna offend Jarvis so they’re not saying it

Your argument could be made exactly the same for taylor. They are both small only difference is that taylor is great at being awkward and not taking damage. Jarvis will bring the fight, dish out hard shots, and has the chin to take them back. We can agree that kenny should be the favorite in “my” fight and it will be a new challenge for jarvis. However i hope you can see where the better fight is at.

One of the other things with Antony Taylors is he has been developing his peekaboo and inside boxing (which he isn't amazing at but is okay at) that style is designed for taller and more ranged boxers it's why he knocked Rak Su down in what 3 seconds.

People should be fighting at their level, if their level is that of someone with pro fighting experience then whatever. But it doesn't matter who, they should be fighting at the level they are at, which is why it's disappointing to see people like Idris and Tommy want to come down to bully influencers or KSI's last few fights (even though stuff like Swarms and Pineda were last minute).

I think they're trying to make AT the replacement for ksi as the guy to beat once ksi retires. Problem is, AT has no influence outside of misfits. If he's the top dog, the scene will honestly die off even quicker. Everyone's also underrating AT again just because he's ex mma. His clinching style and skill is very hard to beat. Credit to Papi for doing as well as he did.
Kenny has all the attributes to beat him, except the main one, which is power. You need insane power and accuracy to punish AT whenever he tries getting in the inside, which he's very good at. AT is also hard to hit since he's very good at slipping punches. AT is also very hard to hurt or ko. Even idris couldn't hurt him. He's also surprisingly good at scoring points. AT is way too good for any influencer in the scene. Tommy struggled with him. Wasn't an easy fight for idris either.
