I haven't tried it unfortunately. But for sure a wider end boom is better for upwind and downwind sailing when you want to have more power and especially more angle downwind. For slalom I am not certain if it would be better, it could be but I am not sure
If you compare 9.0 to 9.0 planning wise there won't be a big difference but obviously the 9.0 FW will have significantly more power to pull you on a deep downwind course and due to a lower bottom leach it will also be easier to point high upwind.
How do you find using Duotone power xt with P7 sails as they're rigged on another side? Especially derigging must be tricky as you can't pull the rope up anymore
Hi Rytis, very helpful video - thanks - I'm struggling adjusting my lines as I foil - I have adjustable 26-34 lines but have not been able to adjust them whilst flying - tried again today when reaching - big crash.... any tips? Philip
Finally someone who puts in the masttop in before putting both parts together...
Hahah
Thank you for all your videos and congratulations on jumping over the 4000 subscribers barrier 👍 Just 29000 to overtake Nico Prien 😉
I am happy with the 4000 of you thanks so much.
Hi Rytis. Did you ever use the wide-tailend for the duotone boom? Does it make any difference?

Hi Rytis! How about batten tension? How do you trim them in light and strong wind?
Hi Rytis,
Have you also tried the P7 F1 FW sail? How is it compare to the SL? in terms of low end power in very light winds (9-10m sails)

@@RYTISJAS and I guess the 10m will be even easier to plane in super light wind?

Tbh I haven't had any problems, works well for me.
You say you use the middle hole (outhaul) to get a better topspeed. How does that work?
It allows a better release on the batten above the boom, the air exits the sail cleaner and faster and therefore creates less drag

Get lines that are easier to adjust hahah and practice
