Smoked Stuffed Burgers | Traeger Smoked Burgers | How to Stuff A Burger

- Today I am making some smoked, stuffed burgers using the Traeger Select and my Blackstone griddle!
My recipe is simple. I just use some lean ground beef, a good helping of my Pit Boss Mushroom and Swiss burger seasoning, some diced onion and some gouda cheese.
I put a bit of the ground beef in the bottom of my burger press and then press it flat. Then, using the stuffing press, I make an indent for the cheese. Then I place some more ground beef on top of that, and use the press to squish it all down together tightly.
After that, I threw them on the Traeger at 180F just to get them to about 150F internal temp and to hit them with some smoke. Once they reached that temp, I had the Blackstone all warmed up and ready to go. I threw each burger on for about 2-3 minutes a side, and then these things were good to go!

Great meatloaf you made there
Yum, great job!
Good content. Thanks. Consider music that’s not quite as hard driven.
Thanks for the tip
You’re complaining about the music? Smh. The video was great!
I was thinking of doing these but pretty much cold smoking them and then searing them on my Blackstone or gas grill. I don't think that smoking them till they are fully cooked will give you a juicy burger.
I hope they turn out well!
@@GreyCountyGrillin I do like the smash burgers so maybe you could cold smoke the burger balls and then do the Blackstone double smash burger with cheese. Just throwing around ideas.
You didn't do the money shot with the cheese rolling out with a side view.
Yeah, I remembered that WAY too late!
I think these were dry and thats why there was no view of them after cutting it open. I have the same problem with stuffed burgers.
They were a little dry. I didn't have the cut open shot because frankly I didn't want to waste one on camera when someone could eat it warm instead.
Looks really cool but were they juicy? The cut one looks kinda dry on the inside. I wonder what it would be like to stuff a smoked burger with a fat like wagyu beef or duck or Crisco.
I blend in some butter!
Butter is a great idea!
Egg? I thought you were making hamburgers. You makin' Egg McMuffins.
🤣
...k
@@GreyCountyGrillin, I'm seeing this a little late, but it's a line from Eddie Murphys comedy "delirious" about his mom making burgers at home instead of going to McDonald's...pretty funny stuff. Great video btw
Next time cook to 120° internal then sear… Medium burger is 135-140° internal. You pulled them at medium plus range.
What model of Traeger is that?
That's the Select. It was a Costco only model I believe.
Where did you get the press?
It's either from Pampered Chef or Epicure. It's great, I use it often!
I stopped watching at “Burger Press”
Cool? I hope you feel proud!
