I'm a Canucks fan, but if the Jets can beat the US and finally give Canada a cup, then I'm definitely rooting for them!! I really wanted them to win that year when they faced Vegas in Round 3. The golden knights shouldn't be this good from the start while us Canadians are struggling for decades...

Even being up 3-1 in a series and losing that series is not choking as each win is a complete game, not a few minutes. If they were up 3-1 in the game with less then 10 minutes in the final period then yes, that's choking. By your definition, the Habs "choked" because they let the Leafs win 3 straight games after winning 1. Again pay attention and learn. As for Canadian teams winning the cup, at no point did I mention the Leafs winning it. There's been so much proof over the years that Betteman is extremely bias and won't let any team from Canada win. He controls everything including the refs. His bias played stronger then ever last year and not just against the Leafs but in every series. By giving the other team every opportunity to capitalize nonsense calls is giving that team the upper hand. Most teams capitalize but should they not, more nonsense calls will be made. There were so many things that happened last post season that normally aren't called, good or bad, but only for specific teams. For example: Let's say Arizona is facing New Jersey in whatever round. If he wants Arizona to win, the refs will call more bad things on New Jersey (ie. Penalties, offsides, no goals, etc.) even when not true while letting Arizona away with actual calls by not calling them. The only way to somewhat stop them is with a coaches challenge but most coaches won't call them because IF their wrong, they'll lose their timeout and get a penalty so it's not worth it most of the time. I wish more people would open their eyes and stop being bias for or against certain teams. If more people actually watched games with an open mind, no love/hate for either team and for the love of the sport they'd realize what's going on. Just because you like or hate a team doesn't mean you can't see what's happening to/for them.
Honestly Columbus is closer to a cup then Calgary is. Columbus has the pieces of the puzzle they just need to put it together and not lose any pieces, give it a couple years they will be contenders
