In one of the missions for Desanta, he offers to pay u 20 000 pesos but at the end of the mission u get $50 which is probably the amount 20 000 pesos would be worth in dollars. Probably the same thing here

Like the treasure hunter looks rich so it would be a funny twist that he is actually just looking at maps his great great grandfather made for himself and already used to make his family rich
Jack Marsden as the final character in RDR instead of playing as John is like having a top tier comic like Dave Chappelle open for an amateur on open mic night

It changed the ending conversation for “flowers for a lady”. Not by much but billy doesn’t call jack by his name unlike he does with John. Instead, he just goes straight into we play on Thursdays.

There’s really no need for it. What made Mexico interesting was the revolution, and the atmosphere that follows. which didn’t start yet. Also makes no sense story wise. I’d rather see them add an entire new region to the north of new austin, resembling the Grand Canyon and having brimstone from red dead revolver, and possibly meeting with an old red Harlow, now that would be a dlc.
Rdr2 maps is already big enough, there’s no need for Mexico. Think, Why would John go to Mexico if he doesn’t have business in there? That’s why Mexico is exclusive Rdr1 cause it have something to do with the story. Same as Guarma, it’s only chapter 5 exclusive even though it’s actually a bit of a waste cause we never get to explore it.
4:15 i think the reasons would be: john/jack starts in america and would have dollars before pesos, so maybe in canon there is pesos but your character ignores them and only picks up dollars dollars are more valuable than pesos from a gameplay perspective its easier to keep track of one currency than two
