- The Warhammer Titan was introduced and killed off within a very short time in Attack on Titan; why is that?
That's what we'll be talking about today.

holy cow the warhammer titan! thanks for watching subscribe if you're new 👀
The transforming outside of the titans body was actually pretty clutch imo. Lara would've been dead 2 times already, when eren smashed her neck and when mikasa blew her head off. It caught them pretty hard off guard and bought a lot of time for the other shifters to come help.
Yes but it was a dumb move at the same time, there is no way she would expect a titan to ignore or stand there hile she is transforming, she could of went further away and transformed and mikasa wouldnt of came if warhammer killed eren instead of waiting so yea
True, Reiner not helping (and Zeke's betrayal and not really doing anything) screwed Lara over
If she formed in the neck instead of a cord, her transformation would have been fast enough that she might have been able to grapple with Eren, and she could have made additional armor for her neck if she thought of it. Overall, I felt that her abilities were cool and versatile, but that makes it all the more disappointing when you need to keep the plot moving. At least she hasn't been finding excuses to survive 4 seasons like Reiner.
I think that Lara would’ve instantly lost when Mikasa attacked her with the thunder spears if she resided in the nape. If not there then she would’ve lost when Eren was thrashing her face mid-transformation
Unless she makes extra neck armor, or transforms faster when forming in the neck. Frankly, Marlean tanks should all be made of titan hardening to save them the cost of steel.
Imagine if Eren used the warhammer for a weapon, like a bow or a hammer. That'd be super epic and would make sense. Sadly didn't see it :(
no it wouldn't made sense
eren have the warhamer titan for less than a month thats why he was spaming spikes besides creating weapons and he didn't even got a chance to train to it due to the civil war ib paradise and marley spy's in paradise
Guys the remote control feature was the only reason why Lara even survived Mikasa in the beginning of the fight. Mikasa fired 8 god damn spears at her nape.
Not to mention that if Eren didn't get his hands on the nutcracker she would be virtually invulnerable, and be able to use her powers after she recovered.
In my opinion the Warhammer and all of it's quirks were implemented very well, even if it was shortlived.
yeah, the circumstances were just too perfect for her. had galliard not been around, eren probably would've just crushed her
I think the Warhammer can CHOOSE to reside in the nape or not. Besides, unless Lara was crystallized inside the nape, she would have been crushed by Eren’s original attack. It’s remote control ability is a situational one, and Lara would have lost either way. This should have been cleared up or explained better in the story though.
True, she definitely could've been in the Nape, but I'll give Lara credit where credit is due, she knew that the Nape would've been annihilated in that fight, and she was right
@@thalmoragent9344 Totally agree. Also I got to ask, is Ulfric Stormcloak on your payroll?
@@heretic117
My "Payroll"? Excuse me, I'm afraid I'm not fully aware of what you're asking.... are you asking if the Dominion has a Bounty on that wretched Nord? If so, most definitely.
If you could assassinate him on the verge of a Stormcloak Victory, so as to allow the Empire to win, then we'd be most within your debt
@@thalmoragent9344 My mistake, I did not mean to insinuate anything. As a proud Stormcloak, I will assist my Jarl in his conquest of Solitude, which he will hopefully survive and not be murdered in an alley while a Legion sympathizer takes his place.
@@heretic117
*"Well then, as befitting of your name, you shall indeed die a Heretic's death"!*
"Usurper, Eren Jaeger. Do you have any last words?"
-Lara Tybur's last words.
"Any last words, Eren Yeager?"
-Last words of Lara Tyber
It was never stated that a wielder of the warhammer titan can only control his/her titan remotely. I think Lara could have transformed regularly and been in the nape of her titan like all other shifter but she thought being in the crystal being safer for her coz the Jaw titan is the only one that can break it & she never expected it to be used against her.
Anyone else notice that the Warhammer Titan's Achilles' heel is literally on her heel?
Man if warhammer didnt have the power to put his body in a remote zone lara would be dead right after the first punch eren throw at her. It´s useful depending on the context.
Warhammer titan theme just before she transforms is so lit
I think it would’ve been cool if one of the warrior candidates inherited the warhammer and then fought eren not much later, would’ve made the inexperience make a bit more sense, we could’ve gotten more time to get to know the shifter and would show clearly what eren has become when he stares a child in the eyes as he uses the body of that child’s friend to crush and eat them. Dark as fuck, but I’d prefer that to Lara being shown like 4 times, having minimal dialogue then fucking off and dying
I agree the warhammer titan feels a bit underwhelming, but it doesn't bother me honestly (also manga spoilers: the ancient warhammer titans designs are super cool)
personal interpretation, but i think the remote control thing was something she chose to do, and something only the warhammer _could_ do
if youre a shifter fighting other shifters who all know about a titan’s weakness, moving your weak spot seems like a smart idea, especially if nobody knows that that’s even possible. For the most part it was working out.
of course from a storytelling perspective, i can see what you mean. I like how it was portrayed, but I would’ve liked to see more from it. A crazy-strong titan with that much potential, but at the cost of quickly exhausting its stamina every time it uses said potential. The floor spikes and weapons and just overwhelming Eren was awesome to see-not giving him room to breathe.
Once again he won because of his comrades, not that that’s a bad thing. Lara shouldn’t have let Eren out of her sight, but Mikasa was a dangerous person as well, so I guess I can see how it happened.
The giveaway to how underwhelming its intro was an immediate punch in the face. 😂
Him: “I’d say if you remove that whole remote control feature she would’ve had a much better chance at defeating Eren
*Also Mikasa: Blows up her entire nape area*
maybe she was just being more wreckless due to the fact that she didn't have to worry about her neck
Imagine if Ereh inherited the iPhone charger ability from the Crossbow Titan .
But he inherited. He inherited the whole WHT. He just choosed not to use it.
She also lost because it was a 2v1, Mikasa helped too.
The remote control is an advantage because the user of the Warhammer can change locations. Could be inside or far outside of the body of the titan.
Also a name more appropiated could be The Crafter Titan.
its strong but it cant maintain its form for long. its power is exhausting imagine it as a sprinter it can only last for seconds
Only if it wastes all its energy creating ten different types of weapons.
@@Adsper2000 yah its the reason why its called "war"hammer titan its used on battles and the energy of it is very low, think of it as mana you use it for skills then you run out of it so yea its basically it haha
To be fair if she HAD resided in the nape, Eren would have ooga boogad her in the first 3 seconds of the fight. At least this way she was able to last a few minutes.
Imo its the coolest shifter
I think the female Titan is the coolest personally, I like how they went for a skinless design and I really l like the pink
@@coltondraws6566 the sheer chills she has with her presence alone, also her fingers were actual bones hell that's gonna be scary AF
It's the best by far. The Warhammer Titan could probably solo any titan. The Founding Titan would be tough, but if she keeps shattering bone with the massive hammer, Eren would eventually be killed.
@@forgottenrights351, Eren’s FT can just take WH’s power at one moment. Instant win.
@@forgottenrights351 it depends on which holder though. ymir's titan was twice the size of the colossal while frieda's was basically a nerfed female titan
Thank you for this bingable content.
The thing that was kinda frustrating was how thick eren’s plot armor was in that specific episode/chapter
Like damm he lowkey created 3 titan bodies in like 5 mins with no drawbacks ez clap 👏🏻
I feel like there should have been _SoMe_ consequence for doing that even tho he trained:/
Alexander Zangal What would you have written as drawbacks?
He used attack titan many times, his mastered it so it is obvious for him to be able to.
Isn't exactly plot armor considering how experienced Eren was with using the Attack Titan
@@d8806 Remember when he was trained by Hange, learning Eren's power. There was a significant lapse in time between s3 and s4. So imagine they be training as hell.
Dude Annie transformed again in like 5 minutes in S1 when scouts trapped her in forest.
Why can't eren do the same?
I wish Isayama had named it the Artillery Titan!
Nice video
Sucks we don't see Warhammer titan that much, its my favorite titan and I think Warhammer its second most powerful titan ever if your smart to use it you can kill a colossal titan and you can replicate giant Odm gead
You can’t fly though.
If the power of Titans generation still exist in the future it would be more improving and more op, especially how much anti titan weaponry and technology became more advanced.
But Titans aren’t evolving or something.
@@crabcrab3048 Theirs a shitton of variations of Titans that has noticable weak designs to strongest designs.
R.i.p
if she didn't have the remote feature she would have survived less actually cuz eren crushed her nape on transformation
warhammer is the strongest one but unlucky that someone incompetent had it. and before you say it,as of right now the founder is worse because basically everyone with royal blood is except historia and zeke, killing 2 people, one whos about to die and one who has no powers wouldnt be that hard
The warhammer can choose to crystalise
i wreckon ab ability to hide in the war hammer body instead of the nape is better
Not all warhammer titans are wired.
Thr war hammer is stronger than the attack Titan but she didn't had any real experience
im surprised she can fight and pack a punch tho, Frieda on the other hand was straight up *murdered*
At Least her powers are used a lot
my thoughts? Lara is hot
What's even the point of the remote control power if it's never used in the story again. Why introduce it, I don't get it. Also why does Eren barely use the Warhammer titan in general. He only uses it twice I believe.
Bcz different circumstances call for different abilities , and where Eren would use his abilities in a place other than battles exactly ?
@@arminbe I know that but this titan specifically is just shoehorned in the last parts of AoT and is barely used. I feel like the Warhammer could be used for more things y'know? Seeing Eren remote control the Founding or something would of been something genius to see but I that didn't happen. AoT has never been perfect or a masterpiece so it doesn't bother me that much. 👍
The remote control thing was just a way to make the battle involve strategy and more tension, and display that Eren actually thinks things through now.
Eren didn’t use the powers as much because he just got it, he needs time to practice to get as good as Lara, but he doesn’t need it by the time he gets the Founder for obvious reasons. If God got into a fight with someone, he wouldn’t wield a sword.
warhammer aoe hopechads believe
First, pin me.
Lmao no
