I found Sprat at a bus stop last summer. I was walking from the store and he came running out of the bushes towards me, screaming all the way down the street. I tried to find his mom or other feline brothers in the neighborhood, but there was no one.
I took Kilka home, even though I already had two cats living with me at the time.
He was just a baby then, but today he is a beautiful adult cat who purrs sweetly now for you too.

Cats purring always relaxes me, I love it when my own cat curls up next to me and purrs. It does put me to sleep
i’ll never trust a mf that doesn’t love cats. immediately red flag 🚩 cats are wonderful and you have to earn their trust! people who say they don’t like cats don’t like having to work for trust and therefore i don’t trust them. a cats bond is special and unique and they enrich lives ❤
Fr, people who hate cats are people I will never be able to fully trust. I can get that some ppl are traumatized maybe or are allergic or something-but hating cats to the point where they treat them like rodents (which, funnily enough are also not as bad as people make them out to be)… yeah it just don’t sit right to me. My dad is kinda a red flag for different reasons. He doesn't hate but definitely doesn't like cats either, BUT it's reasonable once you know why. Growing up, his mom was absolutely insane. She loved cats, but she was the prime example of a crazy cat lady in a cartoon. She had 36 cats, and most of them were indoors, so the house (according to my dad) smelled horrible, So yes, cats are pretty great, but people have experiences that may justify why they don't like cats.
I think cat ppl who judge other ppl's character is SO WEIRD. just because someone doesn't have a preference for cats doesn't mean they are a red flag? just how someone may prefer cats over dogs. It's totally fine and acceptable to not vibe with a certain animal. and ur acting as if they are the only animal you have to "work" at for their "trust" that's basically every animal lmao. cats are not gods, the worship is real and it's weird. btw, having an animal in general that loves & trusts you can enrich ur life.

I could name a few good reasons not to like dogs as a cat person one being people dying from dog attacks (idgaf about why either, the fact it happens and people overlook it too much that fucks me up), two being that dogs are loud as shite and will bark at anything non stop for hours on end, not to mention chewing and defecating/pissing on everything, i could go on for days...
Dog people also love to recklessly bring their large dogs around smaller dogs where a dog fight is about to blow and everything goes to shit.

우리애랑 같이 잘 때… 우울증으로 한창 고생하던 때라 침묵을 견딜 수가 없던 때가 있었는데 그때 항상 내 머리맡에서 자던 울애 고로롱 소리 듣다보면 진짜 너무 안정감이 들었었음. 편안하고 포근하고… 지금은 집이 많이 기울어서 전세사기 당하고 이리저리 이사 다니느라 반려동물 못키워서 강제로 이별함. 이모네 집에 있긴 한데 이모랑 치고박고 싸워서 보러가진 못함. 내가 학창시절 동안 죽지 않고 버틸 수 있었던 건 다 그 애 때문이었는데, 애랑 떨어져 살고 난 후 진짜 우울증이 급속도로 악화돼서 일상생활도 못하고 인생을 날려먹었음. 그래도 지금은 알바도 하고 일상생활도 어느 정도 할 수 있을 정도로 호전됨. 이렇게 나아지니 우리 애 생각이 더더욱 많이 나더라. 내 인생의 전부, 나의 유일한 가족. 보기만 해도 사랑스럽고 사랑한다는 말이 자연스레 나오던 내 아기. 내가 유일하게 행복하다고 느끼던 때. 지금은 몇년이 지났는데 이제와서 애 다시 데려오면 스트레스 받을까봐 그냥 맘에 묻어두기로 함. 그래도 너무 억울하고 서럽고 사무치게 그리운건 어쩔 수가 없더라. 못난 나한테 와줘서 너무 고마웠고, 얼마 되지 않는 시간동안 나의 전부가 되어줘서 고마웠어. 지금도 내 전부인 아가, 꼭 다시 만나자.
