[DUBBED] Sora VS Terra's Lingering Sentiment

- I know I already said it too many times, but this is surely one of my best projects I ever made. It took me forever to complete it, and it wasn't so simple, so sorry if some things are not perfect as I expected.
The dialogue between Terra and Sora IS NOT a direct translation, of course.
I took some sentences from Terra in Birth By Sleep and I put them in a right order to make sense. Anyway if you already know what they really say, you'll find out that this dialogue is veeeery similar. :)
This video should be fun for every KH2 Final Mix player, especially for the ones who always fight Terra. I hope they could see this fight with different eyes with this.
Oh, I had to cut the first part of the fight, because it was becoming too long.

I love from 0:25 - 2:05. All of it was a nice touch and it should've been done like this in the actual game, especially the end. But my favorite part is 2:05 when he screams Xehanort! It makes goosebumps erupt and makes more sense as to why he goes on a homicidal rampage.
It's nice that it's not only close to the actual script, but it actually flows well. Like, none of the sentences are strung together oddly or anything. Good job.

I was expecting you to only dub Terra's voice, but the flashbacks were a fantastic touch! Bravo!

I've beaten Terra several times already he isn't as hard as everyone makes him out to be if you can read his attack patterns. Also you've done a splendid job with this video and it's not easy to use the regular keyblade and limit form either too. Again awesome job.
Agreed.. In fact, whenever they get around to actually releasing the final mix stuff I hope that this is more or less what this fight is like.
As you've heard countless times pacey, this video is just a masterpiece so I can't thank you enough for gracing us with this. I just have one question, where did the animation of Sora coming back to live come from when Roxas/Ventus(not sure) said "Don't worry, you're gonna do fine".
And then terra realizes its vens power within sora PERFECT it even included flashback clips showing ven, terra and even aqua's strong freindship
You did great with the dub! I mean, I'm amazed that you included Terra's battle cries in the battle along with the KH: BBS clips and dialogue in the cutscenes! How on earth did you do it? It's amazing!

Man oh man, words cannot describe how awesome that was. Hell, if I wasn't familiar with the series, and someone told me this was part of the game, I would have believed them. You, sir, are BOSS.
I never truly appreciated just how powerful Sora is until I saw this.
Absolutely beautiful. Everything fit in so perfectly and I really thought I was watching a US version of the game. You are talented and you have a gift. And I loved how you made the fight harder than it already was. Great work.

Oh... my... god. This... was... TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!! This is the best Lingering Sentiment scene I've EVER seen in all my years of being a Kingdom Hearts fan!!! Soon as that stupid limit goes up, this is headed for the favorites!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!
Good job Pacey. This fight means a lot more when I can acually understand what Terra is saying, and the sound effects are great too, especially when he goes into desperation mode, which definitely tells us what he's been feeling for the past 10-11 years.
I hope that Square Enix decides to release a HD collection of Birth by Sleep, 1, Re:COM, and 2 at some point, and uses the Final Mix versions of Birth by Sleep, 1, and 2. It'll probably be a while before that happens though.
Holy Crap! This is great. I originally had the same idea, but after seeing this, I realize you did a way better job than I ever would've. Congrats on this very well made video!

Very impressive O__O I've been watching several of your walkthrough lately in order to refresh my memory with the whole story of KH, you did things that I didn't even imagine were possible to do. Not only are you a master at playing with challenges but you can also dub. You honor your fandom.

I really like this and I also like the little touch you included that Sora seemed to try to direct some of Terra's attacks away from Donald and Goofy. But tell me was that intentional or an incidental part of your awesomeness?
Interesting in hindsight: you pretty much predicted Sora rewriting history.
Did you dub over his battle dialogue as well? That must have taken ages!! I am still a long ways away from beating Terra, but you gave me a strategy! Fantastic job.
Mate... I'm impressed with this lil vid you made. Nice touch with the 'don't worry' healing thing, I see how you managed to do that, nice editing on your part. I honestly wish that the 'upgraded' versions of games made it in the western world, eg, Universal Tuning.
My question is why is your drive gauge full each time you shift out of a form? I've played II final mix (emulated obviously, re:com never came out here in Australia) and using codes is the only way I can manage that.
Years have passed, and this is still really, really good, even just discovering it now.

This has got to be the most incredible thing I have ever seen KH related. My one and only teeny tiny gripe is that I wish the Xehanort sound clip, used right before the fight starts, was replaced by the one from before the MX fight. In my opinion the anger might have fit more.
The voice acting is impeccable and the dialogue is paced well. You need a damn medal.

Pacey, why does your damage from attacks go up as you combo? How is your drive allways full, what was that venn cutscene when you died, and I'm confused how you didnt take damage after a cure.. Can you explain to me? Thanks. Nice dubbing :D really good video!

Even looking back at this from the first time I saw it, it's still very well done even if the visual quality of the video has a lot to be desired. But it's an old video so it's a product of its time so I won't fault it. It's so dope hearing all this.

Where'd you get the "don't worry, you're gonna do fine" sound clip? Is that Roxas or Ven? Also, how did you make the animation look like he was coming back to life?
you know, I had this question stuck in my head when watching this video. I noticed terra was using his keyblade to fly around sometimes like in BBS. why couldn't he use that move to fly out of the graveyard, and go and hunt down xehanort to "set things right", like he said? it's much better than just staying where he was, like he did, right? so why'd he just stay there all those years?
Simple answer that was actually answered in 3 in some old descriptions:
"Those who fall in the keyblade graveyard are bound as spirits. Trapped for eternity, until one calls them in their need."
...in terra's case, he is literally trapped until xehanort comes _back._

Due to the editing, length and how tired I was around half way onwards I actually thought it was real until I read the title again.
(Stupid question/complaint: Why does your Sora always say "Give me strength!" when he transforms? I love it when he says it cause it always gets me pumped up to fight but mine always yells "Light!" No fair!)

Have you considered making the Terra parts a higher aspect ratio? xD It would look so much nicer if not only the KHBBS flashbacks, but the KH2FM parts were, too? But besides that, this is amazing. I always thought the voice Terra had might suit some parts of the Lingering Will.
I'm impressed that you were able to defend against Terra's attacks so effectively, AND defend Donald and Goofy on multiple occasions.

I love how you put everything together in this vid, especially the cutscenes. It's like nostalgia all over again watching Terra's memories. I kinda wish Terra had more yelling soundbytes... No offense, but the desperation attack sounded a bit dry. But still, that was epic.

Now that kingdom hearts is on PC, someone should turn this into a mod the cutscenes and Terra's battle quotes. Even an auto life once per fight. Listening to Terra go super Saiyan while triggering his DM is not something I thought I needed in my life.

...the only attacks that made it to bbs are blizzaga(?), magnega, his keyblade rider attack, ultima cannon, dashing, and a combo that resembles that of dark impulse. Yet his cool ones are the whip, the mini cannons, and his desperation move... and if you wanted accuracy, you should have changed donald and goofy's weapons too. But this video is great...considering the dialogue is more accurate than the xemnas dub, and that you had more sounds to work with. For 3ds will you dub the final boss?

@kalmah456 ....no, technically, it's not actually Terra, but it's also not like you're thinking. it's basically Terra's spirit that continues to exist inside his armor after Xehanort merges their hearts and steals his body.

@EZIOHOOKER This is from Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, a Japanese only version of Kingdom Hearts II that has most of the changes from the English release as well as new cutscenes, weapons, abilities, and bosses. Kingdom Hearts and Birth by Sleep.

@SamTheHedgehog121 Well you're right about aqua and ven. But Ven's heart being within Sora's has nothing to do with his ability to wield a keyblade. At the time, when Riku was supposed to be the origin wielder, he gave in to the darkness and at the time the keyblade detected that Sora's heart was stronger so it stayed with him. But Ven's heart residing within Sora is reason why Roxas can dual wield keyblades. Terra's heart, Xehanort's heart and Eraqus's heart are all within

@kalmah456 that would be a no as well. she's still very much alive, but as far as WE know, she's still in the Realm of Darkness from having sacrificed herself to save Terra (this was after the transformation, so he wasn't completely Terra anymore, but that didn't make much of a difference to her.)
