      it looks 90% like hornet 900 with single sided exhaust....but when hornet put that retro modern style was bashed by retarded reporters...honda with hornet 900 was 20 years infront of all...if you see my hornet 900 how it looks you will understand...its 95% just like the cb1000r 2018

    It's a very beautiful bike. Definitely a very viable alternative to the BMW R Nine T.

      @samrit123in 6 років тому

      DannyBomBom Different segments. A 100 HP retro vs a 143 HP naked bike.

    • @galaeron
      @galaeron 6 років тому +2

      The rnine t is 110 HP, and it's not really a retro. Plus, the nine t puts out 116Nm of torque @6000 rpm vs the honda's 104@8250 RPM. Considering they're both nakeds I wonder how much advantage the 33 hp advantage will give the Honda, if any at all. It's also only 9 kg lighter than the Nine t.
      All that being said, the honda's chassis is probably sportier, with quicker turn-in, but I don't think they're different segments at all.

    I now 40 years of age and this or a GSXS1000 will be my next bike I used to love sport bikes but now that I’m older I still want the power but not the uncomfortable ride and one of these fits my needs perfect. I don’t do long rides mostly just 50-100 miles at a time so one of these will be perfect probably still as fast as a super sport 600cc sport bike woth decent handling.

    This bike is everything I ever wanted my 2002 919 (Hornet 900) to be. Unfortunately, this bike approaches $13k in the US (2019 model) whereas my first year (in US) 2002 919 was taken home for under $8k. A test ride is still a must for me.

      Yeah, this is strange. I have those on my 600cc bike and they are different universe compared to the stock Dunlop tyres on my second bike, Z900 (i have zero confidence in oem Dunlops ! ) I wonder, which tyres could be better suited for bike like this ?? Supercorsas ? Im running S21 with slightly lower pressure and there is no problem with grinding footpegs. Cant imagine doing that on Z900..

    • @tsa567
      @tsa567 6 років тому +4

      I think it's something to do with differences in the off the shelf s21 and the ones that come OE. OE equipped tyres look the same but can be made from such different compounds of rubber that they are effectively a totally different tyre altogether. I have had s21s in the rain and the sun and they have been nothing but amazing

    • @rubyroth
      @rubyroth 6 років тому

      will M I had them for a while in a hornet 900 and for road use have been spotless, the balance between performance and durability for me is a above anything else, I conmute with the Niner everyday in the winter and this tires had me through some nasty weather, and for the occasional blast in the twisties grip more than enough.

      I have. I do really like the upright/ naked bike design the most though..
      the husq 701 looked appealing too..
      I’m mostly going to be doing a lot of commuting.. so far after a few months with my lil bike I want to jump to a street triple, monster, R9T, or something similar to these~.... lately been asking for more advice. Haven’t received much., tho.
      What’s your opinion.. my commute is 1-1.5 hours each way by car.. it’s only 20 miles. Crazy.. San Fernando ca- Beverly Hills.. its a beautiful drive too. Might do some vlogging once I’m comfortable .
