Never was, never will be, a better scene than the California beaches with music celebrating all they stand for, fun, sun, girls, water, surfing, Beach Boys music.
My parents listened to the Beach Boys when I was a child, and I loved every minute of it. Theirs is real music, the songs aren't about death and drugs, and their stage show isn't fireworks and nudity. They are pioneers of music and I will enjoy them forever!
I discovered The Beach Boys in 1963 when I was in junior high school and have been a fan since then even after the Beatles, Rolling Stones and the British Invasion.
Saw the Beach Boys at the Vancouver PNE 2022 Mike love and Bruce Johnston remaining plus Mike Love's son etc,..Great concert and of the many PNE concerts that I have attended, the crowd reaction--mainly much younger-- was overwhelming and at a level unmatched by others (including native sons Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman--but their concert was great, too.)
Thank you for sharing, great sounds and at Waikiki, beautiful, so happy to have been at one of their first gigs, at a neighboring city from them, in Lennox!♥️🔆👧🏻kid time, yeah!

I like watching stuff like this and remembering when everything was still " normal " ..
Bravo! It's a great fun concert by the very talented Beach Boys in beautiful Hawaii. Brian Wilson looks great/handsome/healthy in this time period of the early 2000s
@tracy This is 1986. See Joe Piscopo.
Awesome concert. So nice to see a crowd with no cell phones in their hands! Here's to more!!
Thank you God for the Beach boys

Living is a musical instrument 's walking to the beat of our own drum 🥁
This is the best Beach Boys video I've ever seen!!! 🥰😍🤩
Sean Lennon's right -- the Beach Boys' music puts you in a good mood.
Super! Sound the same if not better! Love it!
Waikiki Shell venue,I was there LOVING IT!!!
My parents were there. We had just moved there in June. I was 15. Such a great time to be alive. Everyone just having fun. Dad told me that my mother was talking to Paul Shafer but had no idea who he was

When this concert was first broadcast here in the uk in 1987 ( I would have been only 5 years old then) my dad recorded it on vhs tape and I still have it (complete with all the ad breaks from 1987) and it remains one of my favourite live music concerts ever, and I also have it on dvd now too

So glad to have come across this concert video. So much fun. Originally saw it many moons ago on Australian TV. Although no Dennis, the rest of them are in good form.
Love Ray Charles, I'm so thankful for this unity 😊
Fun Fact:The song Barry Manilow recorded,"I write the songs"...he may write songs but NOT that one,Bruce Johnston of the Beach Boys wrote "I Write the Songs"
HISTORY TOLD

Whose Paul schafer lol
Fantastic show !!
Never was, never will be, a better scene than the California beaches with music celebrating all they stand for, fun, sun, girls, water, surfing, Beach Boys music.
Mike Love...dude. How can you be this uncool in one of the coolest bands ever.
My parents listened to the Beach Boys when I was a child, and I loved every minute of it. Theirs is real music, the songs aren't about death and drugs, and their stage show isn't fireworks and nudity. They are pioneers of music and I will enjoy them forever!
I watched this when it was broadcast in 1986 and still have the VHS tape that I recorded it on.
I discovered The Beach Boys in 1963 when I was in junior high school and have been a fan since then even after the Beatles, Rolling Stones and the British Invasion.
Same for me, Beach Boys fan no time for British Invasion.

Saw the Beach Boys at the Vancouver PNE 2022 Mike love and Bruce Johnston remaining plus
Mike Love's son etc,..Great concert and of the many PNE concerts that I have attended, the crowd
reaction--mainly much younger-- was overwhelming and at a level unmatched by others
(including native sons Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman--but their concert was great, too.)
Thank you for sharing, great sounds and at Waikiki, beautiful, so happy to have been at one of their first gigs, at a neighboring city from them, in Lennox!♥️🔆👧🏻kid time, yeah!
