Thanks so much for a walk around Towyn. Me and my family (Mum, Granny in her wheelchair, Aunties and Cousins) never went anywhere else for all our childhood until my 14 th year when we started going to Rhyl. I nearly bust out crying when you passed The Seagull, us kids would be sat in a line on the step with bottles of pop while the adults were inside. All of them gone now, and I loved them all so much. We used to push my Granny up Sandbank Road in her chair, dodge over the railway lines (no bridge then!) and then haul my Granny, chair and all over the sea wall. Such happy times, we had no money, my Mum and Aunts were widowed, but we still had a fantastic times. Haven’t been back for a long time but the memories came back as soon as I saw each lovely familiar building. Thanks love. I’m very happy. Xxxx
We were going to buy a caravan on there this year, but decided not as our kids like the sun abroad too much lol maybe when we are a bit older and have grandchildren. Lovely park. We love the market opposite and the fair. Glad your enjoying yourselves xx
Remember all those caravan parks and Millers cottage site loved coming back from the clubs on site and getting fish and chips from the vans on site also remember the yard of ale competitions in the club.
We just got back from rhyl. We stayed at the Marine Holiday Park it was £100 deposit which we got back thank god! The staff wasn't very nice but the cafe owner was lovely 😊
