This vid fueled me a lot, When I'd free-time after my DJ work, I also shared tips with my locals who's interested in sractching. Now,the simplified tips but gold comes out, It means a lot that we share the same direction of attitude. Keep it up bro!!!
The beste thing you can do If you dont want use Crossfader while scratching ist for example the Gatter Plugin in Traktor IT makes your scratches Sound Like a pro when you Set IT Up correctl. Gatter Plugin Cuts hard.
Great explanation. Really appreciate you taking time to break down the process and I appreciate the level of detail as well. BTW, would you take the SRT 1000 over the FLX6 or has the 6 been sufficient for your needs?
Appreciate ya!! 🙏🏾 Personally, I’d take the SRT1000. The FLX6 is okay, but I don’t like the sensitivity on the jog wheels. SRT1000 feels a bit better and is a little more advanced of a controller.
I am having trouble getting the incoming scratch to come in on beat when released... Any tips? I have my vinyl start speed at instant but still struggling... My only thought is that I just need more practice
Practice is of course always key. I also like my tables always set to high torque. Overall though, just requires a feel for the vinyl and dropping it at the right time. After a while, it’ll be second nature but it can feel impossible at the beginning
Thanx for the video. I’m about to try these tips out right now. Got a question though. I got to this page looking for changing up gear. I’m considering changing out my SB3 for maybe the flx4 or even the rev7 but I notice your using the flx6. The features look pretty interesting for the flx4 but those platters on the flx6 seem great aswell. Out of the three (flx6, flx4, rev1) what would you choose?
@@DJLiftOFF ok Thanx bro. Much appreciated!! I gravitated to the rev 1 initially first. But since I made the last comment Hercules is coming out with that impulse T7! Motorized (belt driven) platters! Man.. again I'm more of a hobbiest but that thing looks cool! You gonna do a video on it?
100% the most helpful video on Yt to scratching bc the simultaneous view of the controller + program
This was probably the most helpful scratch video I’ve watched…thanks bro!
Appreciate that man 🙌🏾🙌🏾 glad I could help
