Excellent!!!!
Nice tutorial Dj.Question: What"s the name of this these 2 songs your demonstrating it?
Which 2 songs?
Can you make a common mistakes made when dropping and scratching transitions?
Definitely 💪🏾💪🏾 very good video suggestion. Thanks!
Can you do a video breaking down the scribble scratch
Yes, will do! 💯
@@DJLiftOFF appreciate ya homie. I have my subscription bell on soon as you drop im in there like swimwear
I noticed in your crab scratch video you have your left hand on the vinyl and your right on the crossfader but in a lot of videos you have it opposite way to. (Right hand on vinyl, left on crossfader) When you first started way, did you have your dominate hand on the record or crossfader?
Definitely started with the my dominant hand on the record as it seemed almost impossible to control the record with offhand. I grew very comfortable with the baby, scribble, chirp, and orbit flare scratches. But I couldn’t do transformers, crabs, or stabs with my left hand on the crossfader so that’s when I switched to my dominant hand on the cross fader to do those other techniques.
I’m working now to get stronger with my left hand on the cross fader and it is HELLA difficult lol. Will get it in time.

Bro appreciate for the tutorial. Just one question: the full chirp (especially on the kick) sounds actually the same as the baby scratch, could you explain why using the chirp instead of the baby scratch?
They sound similar, but the chirp is more crisp! With a kick, you can make better scratch sequences/patterns if you mix baby scratches with chirps. The chirps just have to be really crisp and clean so they don’t sound the same as the baby.
Understood, thanks a lot!@@DJLiftOFF
Do you have to have vinyls for these transitions ?
Nope, you can’t do these with any type of equipment!
Whenever i start a scratch transition on an 1/8 note 50% of the time i mess up dropping on the 1 LOL :)
Ahahah, keep grinding Daz 💪🏾 you’ll get it
Where can I cop that Adorn riddim sample?
soundcloud.app.goo.gl/Up6yuUeeg3jNh8887
What the name of that song
it's crazy. I can do nice clean crabs and twiddles and transformers and 1,2,3 click orbits and all kinds of combos but this dang stab + 2 chirps has taken me like 3 days to get down. I can't stab! Is what I've learned here.
Definitely keep practicing it!! If you’ve got crabs down, you can definitely stab as well
omg... i have a flx6. is this still work?
Definitely!
😎👌🏽
Good morning DJ Liftoff, I enjoy your content, but I wish you would do more videos on transition that does not involve scratching, as I am not a DJ that scratch at all. Thanks
Hey Kirk! I hear ya loud and clear 🙏🏾 - will try and get some more blending/transition videos in soon!
