- CLEAR WINNER! - Titleist GT2 vs TaylorMade Qi10 Today we look for the most forgiving driver of 2024, we have seen some amazing driver launches this year including the TaylorMade Qi10 driver, Ping G430 Max 10k, Titleist GT2 driver, PXG Black Ops driver, Callaway Paradym AI Smoke and lots more. What is the best mid handicap driver? the best high handicap driver? what is the best forgiving driver of 2024? I always think that you should get fitted for a new driver if your going o spend the money on them... but what is the best? lets find out
Best money I spent on golf this year was..... Not new clubs... But a hitting bay and launch monitor, and took some lessons for the first time in my life. So worth it!!!
Just got GT3 driver 3 and 5 wood, absolutely love it. Best feeling driver and woods I’ve ever hit, the feeling of a pure shot is heavenly
I took your word and bought the best driver of 2024….the Ping G430, then you said the new Taylor Made so I bought that…Now it’s the Titleist. I’ve noticed a pattern over the last couple years on your testing and each time it’s basically the new flavor of the month.
Isn't that why they are called influencers
Everything club is the best😂
Which one lines the bank account gets the nod
Stop buying new drivers 😆
I've got the QI10 blackout edition, and love it.. and the fact I won it on the golf gear giveaways site makes me love it even more😂
Haha lucky boy!!!
I’ll offer you $300 for it!! 😉. Left handed?? 😬
James I have been gaming my GT2 since it came out and loving it!!!! Just added a heavier weight in the back and I am hitting my drives 450 yards. Oooops a typo, 250. Appreciate the video.
Have gone from Titleist to a Qi 10 Max this year and have now gone completely TaylorMade in my bag putter, wedges, irons, and woods. And I can't see me changing any time soon.
I thought I had seen everything, but this video proved that the world can still surprise me
I’ve had both of these drivers this year and I also games a ai smoke triple diamond. So far my favorite is the GT2. However the qi10 is a very close 2nd.
My GT indoor fitting felt amazing. Outdoors it’s almost hollow I guess feeling. I love the numbers so feel will take some get some use to
Already have TSi3 in the bag. Never really got on with Taylormade drivers. Definitely sticking with Titleist GT 🤙
This is my 2nd summer playing the Tsr2 with a hzrdus red cb 5.0 shaft. I honestly can't see myself changing anytime soon. They say that nothing feels like a Mizuno in irons but for me, nothing feels like a Titleist in drivers. I may eventually try the GT2 but i can't see myself being anymore consistent than i am with my Tsr2. The rest of the big boy drivers can kick rocks. Lol.
I have a TSR2 and it’s going nowhere. I’ve heard the new version doesn’t sound/ feel any better
Higher ball flight is a bonus in a tail wind and a detriment in a headwind.
Thank you very much
I hated gt2 until today. Got some range time with it, and it's pretty damn good. I hated the high launch at first, but I was able to knock it down just by giving it some time. I still love my AI Smoke TD. It's still faster and longer, but only when I middle it.
PXG 0311 Black ops.. Feel, distance, sound and looks.. 100%
I’d go with the Callaway AI Smoke all day tbh
Aaron Rai, the most accurate driver on the PGA Tour, uses the nearly 6 year old Taylormade M6
Max Verstappen would be faster round a lap in a fiesta than most of us in an F1 car as well buddy
@@JamesRobinsonGolf Haha might be true but would Max still opt to drive a fiesta against his fellow F1 drivers who were all driving better machinery? Obviously not. Rai opts for the M6 because it's just as good if not better than todays drivers. Newer doesn't always mean better, especially when it comes to drivers that have been at the legal threshold limits for years now.
Let's do it...and let's do it now
Both are just too expensive.. feel like a driver from just 2 years ago at half the price would be a much better value..
Work harder.
The good news is all the people buying the new ones keep golfclubsforcash and eBay nicely stocked for the rest of us who don’t work hard enough
I agree. Look up the trade in value on last year's drivers😢😢😢 $63 for an Aerojet LS, c'mon.....
Issue is you may have trouble finding your specs and you probably won’t be able to get a proper fitting. That being said if you trust your knowledge it makes a lot of sense to go preowned
I just got a new gt2 in plastic for $420 off FB marketplace. If you put in some time, you can get great deals on new or very lightly used. People go out and buy new stuff all the time without getting fit. Figure out it doesn’t work and sell it for 2/3rds the price. Or you can get lucky and get one still wrapped. I got a qi10 ls for 465 still in plastic a few months ago. So there’s plenty of deals to be had
I’ll stick with my bargain by Cobra F9, mint and changed my game ! And still out drove a Titleist GT 2 ……….. it’s not the driver , it’s who’s striking it 😉
I’d like to see you compare it to an old M1 .
Taylormade do my head in with their yearly releases which are so much better than the previous year even though they had no issue releasing the previous year's model
The adapter on the Taylormade does my head in too
Taylormade just do my head in full stop
I've stopped buying Taylormade stuff
Stealth was the last thing I bought
Then the so much better Stealth 2 was released.... And so on
Totally agree. How they can keep releasing new models that as so quickly superseded suggests a lack of extensive r&d. I was a TM woods player until they brought out the SLDR which I bought and they were awful. Bought a Titleist 3 wood then driver a few months later and haven't gone back.
No one pays retail price these days, and all good fitters guarantee to match best online price, i paid £429 for an AiSmoke Max 9 degree, stiff shaft, fitted. Callaway supported my fitter on the price, and this was last February when it had just been launched. So don’t bang on about used, as most decent used drivers are over £350 in any event. I can afford it, and will try a new fitting in 2026 or before if something takes my fancy. I don’t drink or smoke, so Golf is my passion and i will enjoy it how i please.
I’m a PING guy but I respect them all. Are you telling me they change the tips OFTEN as well?? Nuts. Ping prices have gotten stupid … like most out there. But their tip has changed once in ~10 model releases. 👍. Wow.
Tips on the shaft ?? Titleist has had the same driver tip since the beginning ,same tip since the 910 in 2010 , Taylormade's has changed once maybe 12 years ago now at the RBZ Stage 2 , Ping's last change was at the Ping 410 .
I could easily game either one of those
Anyway… that’s fun and all but they expensive. Could get the cobra, Srixon ZX5 or the Mizuno for 150-200 less than a Taylormade or Titleist. I also feel like it’s very much less about the head but about the shaft. People don’t get fitted properly.
Your character is severely flawed. Integrity>clicks. Your reviews are BS mate. Everytime a new driver drops you simp over it and tell everyone it’s the best it’s the best go buy it. Every driver can’t be the best mate. G430 Qi10 and now GT2 you’ve said are the best. Your integrity is none existent pal.
That’s cool mate, because this comment shows that what i apparently lack in integrity you lack in intelligence, intellect and the ability to read a video title and absorb the information in any manner other than a negative view point. But thanks for watching every time a new driver comes out… views>clicks means money. 💰
A bit harsh - I reckon the reviews are pretty balanced, and who isn't attracted to something new and sparkly! The video is there to make your own decision on preferred ball flight and for me it would be Titleist based on height as I've lost the club head speed to launch effectively, now struggling to fly it 240 metres at 70 yo.🙁
James....i popped the same Hzrdus Black Gen 4 6.0 shaft in my older Tsi2. I noticed a much higher ball flight and a reduction in distance over the other 2 x shafts I have which are slightly more higher launching and less low spin. It could be my swing but i thought it worth mentioning as that GT2 was launching super high for you which maybe shouldn't happen with such a low launching shaft. Would it not have been a better test to put the GT3 against the Qi10.....both are lower spinning, in theory, than the GT2.
James hasn’t hit a draw in 10 years. He hits a 10 yard cut and calls it a draw.
Neither drivers still as good as the Ping G430 max for most average golfers. The Ping is miles ahead for forgiveness!
In your opinion. I bought one and didn't like it and went back to an older Titleist driver.
@@TheflyingkiwiRC it’s not opinion. Forgiveness wise it’s unrivalled. If it works for you or not is irrelevant to the facts
@@dbo4506 Sounds like you're part of the Ping marketing team. I see quite a few up for sale so maybe they aren't for everyone 😜
@@dbo4506 That's actually not true. If it's the most forgiving club for a robot swing that's the same every time, than I'd say it's the most forgiving. But everyone has a different swing and some drivers will react differently. Get fitted, try a few and decide on one that works for you, is the best thing. The Ping is DEFINITELY NOT miles ahead for forgiveness, that's one thing for sure.
Such bs , Ping is so short on distance
Qi10 for me is king
Id prefer the GT2
You won’t have to change your titleist next year unlike the taylormade
Great point
No disclosure about the shafts. We all know it is not about the head, it is the shaft. That compromised your conclusion. But thanks anyway.
Ooooookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
is this the inspiration club
Ummmm - are tee marks really impossible to get off? I'm considering shit from Ping G425 to GT2. But permanent tee marks would ruin it for me.
Use Muckoff spray , works a treat
Calves are looking better than ever. Hopefully Mickelson doesn't see this.
The Callaway AI smoke smashes both, the Q110 is awful
Taylormade just looks better to me
There is no best drivers. Mine may not suit for someone else.
Great comment
Titleist without a doubt. TaylorMade still hasn’t fixed the breaking issue. I’ve seen just as many soles of the qi10 break off as I have seen faces off the stealth’s. Oh yeah, and titleist is hands down a longer, more forgiving driver.
bro is spraying the ball all over the sim lol, how do i get free stuff to be so bad
Generally it’s more about how you treat people, talk to them and conduct yourself… you stick to hitting it straight and being a bitter online troll. I’ll stick to being nice to folk and spraying it all over my free sim with my free clubs
@ all those free clubs and still can’t have a consistent shot pattern 😂
If looks are a thing, then Cobra Darkspeed beats them both....... That GT tag , looks like a car badge... not nice.
Real ones know this is a reupload
It’s Taylormade vs Ping, your thinking of oldest vs Ping… 👍🏼
Way way way to expensive and ABSOLUTELY no performance benefits over last years version (or even years previous to that).
Again, if you actually show the finish of your 💩 shots they don’t look very forgiving. You looked all over the show
lol ok mate.
