So btw - when you give your character a greatweapon, you usually SWITCH to greatweapon from handweapon & shield, which already gave you +1 defense and +1 power on charge. This means chosing greatweapon trades +1 power for -1 defense. The game is not great at reflecting that...

I get what you're saying about the undead, necromancer definitely favours a grindy playstyle that isn't for everyone. I've had pretty mobile armies with the vampire though, iirc she starts with skeleton knights! They also get a catapult starting unit unlock and even better knights which is fun!
The issue with that is it's pretty similar to a lot of other factions if you play it that way! I feel like their ISP is a bit of a chore which is a shame
The cannon killed the mortar, so the end stats are definitely not right. Feels like it doesn't count the final battle.
I was gonna say, didn't the cannon get the killing blow on the giant too?
For a second when I heard the Taskmaster reference in the first battle, my first thought was "Oh is that show popular in the UK as well?"

Is there a way to see all the available units for each race that u have unlocked & maybe their starting stats? Whenever u start a new run u get to choose 3 units from 2 screens. I'd love to see the stats on the units to know what I'm choosing.

What do people think of the AI art used in this game? I'm sorta torn, because I know it was definitely trained on pirated art, but on the other hand, if there's any kind of endeavour where AI art is permissable, it's for a very low-budget, literally free one.
I tend to feel like Corpo AI art is the real systemic problem, whereas small AI art users are usually just the ones people feel like they can attack. If it weren't for AI art, this game probably wouldn't get made, but Corpos will of course use it to lower their expenses.
Maybe AI art should not be able to be copyrighted. After all, how can you own it? But you can still sell products that use AI art, and it's up to the customer. This would bother the corpos, because if they don't copyright it, then there goes their IP.
@@shorewall Yeah, the corpos can go fuck themselves, but it doesn't really change the fact that these AI models are often trained on the artwork of both corporate property, freelance artists and even private artworks that just happened to be uploaded online, which is scummy and potentially detrimental to people's jobs (especially since the corpos are looking to fire their artists and use AI art potentially trained on those very artists' work. What an orouboros of shit.)
Damn, I was worried it was AI art. Given how uninspiring the art is and how it's technically unnecessary for the actual gameplay, I really wish they didn't use it. I would respect an honest attempt by an amateur to make art a lot more than leeching off the work of real artists.
