Probably his best interview. There's not one sentence coming from his mouth that's not completely cocky and witty. I love his face after he said that Liam sang Wonderwall and he himself got Don't look back in Anger because he knew that actually both of them wanted to sing Don't look back in anger.
Yes, he actually left several times before the final ending of the band. I remember in 2000 he left the tour for six months after Liam claimed he was the real father of Noel's daughter, Anais. Liam's such an arse!
@@yep3489 i've never heard that i've only heard that he said that he thinks that noel's daughter isn't his not that that's not a shit thing to say but that's quite a big difference
gallaghers are the best , simply better kinder people, funnier than the rest,,, music wise equal all have grat songs.... but as people the gallaghers by far.... both noel and liam are incredibly funny. liams very gifted .
07:10 It's definitely on the Rockstar Book! Our famous brazilian rockstar from the early 60's and late 80's said that in one of his most famous song and I quote: "Those who don't have eyedrops, wear shades". This sentence works fine at 07:23 really. May Raul Seixas rest in peace and may Noel Gallagher live forever.
That sounds right, as Noel was probably on to promote the "Familiar To Millions" live CD/DVD. Noel always does entertaining interviews, this is no exception!
@imaalin if youre talking about the short live video way in the front, it's Supersonic. if youre talking about the one that the old guys are singing, it's Roll With It.
Noel is a great singer song writer and in my opinion a great guitarist and Liam is a good singer, but I do prefer Noel, as a guitarist for 19 years myself, I think he's got some tricky hard guitar parts, well that's my opinion
Footballers do after dinner speeches. I'd love to see a noal after dinner speech about his experience with oasis. How hilarious would that be. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
Yea, I agree with u,see I understand most english speaking people but I always have problems with them, specially Liam. DO YOU KNOW IF THERE'S A SCRIPT OF THIS INTERVIEW??
I think you might find, i may be wrong but i dont think so on this occassion, that the song at the begginning is the outro of Cigerettes and Alcohol...!
@cutandpaste1 its a pretty common saying, kinda means chance would be a fine thing, meaning if the thing happened it would probably be by chance and would be good. I've heard it in a few things, you watch peep show think i remember it from there somewhere.
"Knowing my luck Ill be doing it till im 50" and he still is :)
And im happy he is
They actually touched on that 17 years later in another interview
Always a great head of hair.
He was and still is a funny dude..the way he works a crowd and the camera.. he's a born entertainer.
Probably his best interview. There's not one sentence coming from his mouth that's not completely cocky and witty. I love his face after he said that Liam sang Wonderwall and he himself got Don't look back in Anger because he knew that actually both of them wanted to sing Don't look back in anger.
Noel is a legend and he is brave enough to have an opinion, he will be remembered with Lennon, McCartney, Bowie, Weller, Richards, long live NG!
And Mavers.
Jocelyn Osullivan Who the fuck are those guys?
EP3mentalist surely your joking
Frank Godley bowie is god
Really?
The first part of this, about leaving the band - but never actually leaving, is so sad to look back on, knowing how it ended.
Yes, he actually left several times before the final ending of the band. I remember in 2000 he left the tour for six months after Liam claimed he was the real father of Noel's daughter, Anais. Liam's such an arse!

gallaghers are the best , simply better kinder people, funnier than the rest,,, music wise equal all have grat songs.... but as people the gallaghers by far.... both noel and liam are incredibly funny. liams very gifted .

Lmao, Noel is just a freaking poet. Makes you laugh even with a straight story.
"Well you know how vinyl and CD are completely different?"
Noel you're right brilliants.

I adore Noel Gallagher. This is my favourite interview ever.
I guess we'll never know what strange goings on there were in south London
The end was classic! Love it!
Noel wasn't even joking about the 2000 Q awards, watch the footage, Liam did heckle absolutely everyone
Noel guitar solo is Supersonic.
Live old band are playing Roll with it.
Noel is priceless!
Great interview
Bahah xD "Liam's got a version of that song...it's called Me and Me." I love Noel.
"No, I'm a songwriter cos I ain't good at anything else and I get paid for it" haha
there is. Oasis are still there! and still selling more albums worldwide and playing bigger concerts than any of the flavour of the month bands.
I love this man!!!
Fantastic interview. They really got on.
I remember watching this the first time it was on TV. Great interview..the Ozzy Osbourne one was great too
I love Noel! So funny and down to earth 💙
Not anymore. I miss the old Noel.
50 now and still going strong NG! as you werent, r kid x
hes so perfect
He did retire from being a rock star before 40 though, four years ago, he retired as a rock star and became a God
Love them both
he said,
"Where'd you get them shoes from?"
And it goes on from there.
It was a pleasure doing business with ya lads x x x
It was hilarious and great. Keep rocking and wear shades
best about that was noel's reaction :D
P.F

He's so clever
this man is a legend ....he is the reason i got into music,
This man is real pain in the ass (less than Liam), but I'm fucking loving him because his music is just amazing. This guy is awsome.
That sounds right, as Noel was probably on to promote the "Familiar To Millions" live CD/DVD. Noel always does entertaining interviews, this is no exception!
Love those eyes!
V
He is happy with being called Pop star.i would have though he’d like to be known at least as a musician says a lot about him
Year 2000 this, going off the album he said was being released tomorrow called 'Familiar to millions'
legend. proper man
That "Me and You" song reminded my a bit of The Who's "Mary Ann with the Shakey Hand"
"if the eyes are the windows of the soul, it does a good job of blocking them out don't they?"?? something of that sort
it was 2001. In 2000 they played at Wembley as he says in the show. cheers
One of the reasons why i love Noel is he dresses himself so simple! Not all fancy in suits like these no for good bands!
"They started laughing first."
:P
Where he says I'll prob still be doing it when I'm 50. Yep!
@imaalin if youre talking about the short live video way in the front, it's Supersonic. if youre talking about the one that the old guys are singing, it's Roll With It.
ladies & gentleman the fabulous noel gallagher ..
Funny thing is .. I *am* from Pakistan, and I know I'll never get to see Noel live.
What a brilliantly funny guy. And talented, too, of course.
I love him,I love him😍😀😄
Olivia Lopez Perez how old are you?
Great to see the late, great Ronnie Verrill on drums with the Skinnerettes....
@TheMightyKCJ Hit the nail on the head there shag. Both proper geezers, normal geezers who've never forgot their roots. It's fucking top.
Bring back the Skinner show!!!
I remember this.
noel is so cool he should have his own theme music for when he enters a room.
Noel is a great singer song writer and in my opinion a great guitarist and Liam is a good singer, but I do prefer Noel, as a guitarist for 19 years myself, I think he's got some tricky hard guitar parts, well that's my opinion
I cracked laughing, thanks mate :P
The worlds best busker
Spokesman for a generation, says what everyone is thinking, top man and always will be.

Footballers do after dinner speeches. I'd love to see a noal after dinner speech about his experience with oasis. How hilarious would that be. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

Did anyone buy the triple vinyl Familiar to Millions?
he's high :D but he saved me :) with his lyrics in live for ever and supersonic
whats the song playing at the beginning in the concert clip
Yea, I agree with u,see I understand most english speaking people but I always have problems with them, specially Liam.
DO YOU KNOW IF THERE'S A SCRIPT OF THIS INTERVIEW??
I think you might find, i may be wrong but i dont think so on this occassion, that the song at the begginning is the outro of Cigerettes and Alcohol...!
Hahaha! You can never understand what he says until he starts singing!

@cutandpaste1 its a pretty common saying, kinda means chance would be a fine thing, meaning if the thing happened it would probably be by chance and would be good. I've heard it in a few things, you watch peep show think i remember it from there somewhere.
