American mains who complain about big maps clearly don’t understand the advantages of the Abrams. Been playing Russia for the past week and decided to play the Abrams once again and it feels so great to snipe hull down with good reverse speed and depression

Some people unironically want small maps for top tier sometimes, it has me confused so much because its much easier to use the strengths of the MBTs at range, but people want quick matches. Same goes with air rb too, though I'd prefer Enduring Confrontation in rb.
Less people on AIR RB its a nice change. Who on hell said that small maps at top tier are good?!
Had to laugh as well. I would really enjoy only bigger maps on tier, but adjustments to silver and rp due to generally less kills at long range etc would prob be needed.

Small maginot line
Not too passive and less kill, not checking every corner like in city map, and there are still sniping gameplay

Big maps may suck to traverse however thats how real tank combat is! I would never want to be in a brawl with a tank. Long distance with better chances of rounds bouncing is always more survivable.

Far too many players refuse to leave the spawn in an SPAA, even when their team has map dominance.
SEAD is one of my favorite things to do. the risk/reward is just so nice. Chinese 10.7 is loaded and having the F5E in that lineup is great.

I don’t think I can agree about SPAA being the easiest role to play Hunter, that guy J’ing out was just the typical weird player but that take isn’t really with merit about it being the easier role.
CAS can fly and engage (if flown right) with impunity and it’s easy currently to just hop into with current SP costs.
SPAA has to defend its friendly forces and can’t just engage or maneuver with impunity like CAS can, it’s sole purpose is to be defensive which quite frankly makes it harder to play.
You can make the argument that the Strela, Type 81 C and Pantsir are by in large “easy” to use and that was make a good point, but that was an Ito that was dodged by simply maneuvering downwards and overall other SPAA isn’t like that isn’t “easy”, you can very easily just space bombed, focused by 2 jets or helicopters and there’s nothing you can do about it unless you have a network of SPAAs.
If you literally don’t want to die in CAS you just utilize the ground and nothing can touch you, you can’t do anything like that with SPAA.
It is ok if you disagree with that, it is just frustrating to deny a kill by J OUT no matter what type of vehicle it was. I didn't see pilots J OUT in the sky when the Pantsir S1 came out, and when it came out in the first 30 days WT was a nightmare, literally no fly zone but pilots were trying their best, such cheapness is seen more with SPAAs, miss 6x 50G overload missiles then J OUT to ruin that pilot experience, it is just not cool.
@@Hunter_i86 I get the scenario where players are J’ing out when say they figure they’re gonna get knocked out and they run whatever motive in their heads and want to grief you. But separately from that this isn’t an Pantsir player doing it when they could’ve hit you, they were quite frankly going to be knocked out anyway and were helpless compared to it being necessary a “easy role”.
I can see the some units again being reasonably easier to play from other SPAAs but in truth they are just better than all of the general population of SAMs, it’s not like it’s totally easy mode.
In this scenario I get this particular player just J’d out to grief but also separately again it’s not like he could’ve played differently aside from either launching at you somehow earlier (which would’ve been hard with your flying) or playing it stealthily by using terrain or foliage; otherwise realistically speaking you had it him dead to rights and there wasn’t anything he could do, which is my point.
My take is thus that this can’t have something to do with your past experiences and Pantsirs when they were added like 1+ years ago; this is tension you can easily separate or handle as a CC and not have to make outlandish takes like saying a defensive role is easier to play.
CAS is in my experience and opinion hard to play for sure but also with that for certain easier to play and easier to succeed in in comparison to SPAAs in the long term of WT throughout pretty much all BRs. Yes there are somewhat exceptions to that but even as someone who’s utilized CAS against both TT RU and NATO units; I have to admit this take is very much opinionated on emotional tension than actuality.
I understand you’re a CAS main but I’d hope you’d be more realistic of the state the CAS role is in right now.

2- Use IRST lock
3- Move few meters and my GBU-8 would miss
GBU-8 is not a guided bomb until the distance is 3km to the target, and IRST lock doesn't trigger RWR.
I even said that in multiple videos in the channel, how to be a good SPAA, people just don't want to learn.
@@Hunter_i86the way the player could’ve been better is semantics, it’s a singular event where are clearly inexperienced player faced against a player who mostly played their role and for the most part knew what to do to abuse it but to entertain the semantics;
RWR does notify even with IRST, it gives warning when VT1 is receiving or maneuvering, so all you need to do is fly close so about 13km and when he fires thinking he can hit you, just evade and take reference of where he was from missile first stage launch trail, then repeat what happened in the video or something similar.
And switching to pure IRST isn’t an advantage, it trades off the ability to spot targets over the horizon so you can come in from different angles and he’d have to look for you specifically while being vulnerable to other CAS, if he was in a Pantsir in IRST scanning then sure it would be been better but in ITO it would only give you the advantage.
What he should’ve done could’ve always been different, but what you seem to have tensions towards the Pantsir and frankly my point stands; CAS is easier play with compared to SPAA role especially since you can always play around them or abuse their missile limitations.
In a F-16C or Gripen for instance you wouldn’t even need to worry about IRST or AA that’s not in spawn, you can just flick on and off thermals until you spot a SAM and fly accordingly and frankly there’s nothing much most can do if you strike accordingly. Maybe a Pantsir will be able to engage at longer ranges but overall most exceptional CAS players can always abuse CAS to demeaning extensions; once CAS defeats SPAA they can just destroy tanks with impunity and this part is something in large the community harkens over. The only rationale reason I can see why the Pantsir was added (even though it was a mistake) was due to this being a looming cloud, and I am not excited for the future considering it seems Russian will now have some of the most formidable CAS soon that completely out ranges NATO SAMs, the Su-25SM3.
@@Hunter_i86I will be playing the new Su-25 in mention but note that I won’t be playing it thinking it’s harder to fly it when in contrast to facing NATO SPAA, it’ll overall be a challenge yes but it’s frankly not as hard as being on the defensive end.
It’ll just be a problem most of the time figuring out where’s the SPAA and flying accordingly as I mentioned before, once that’s all done it’s pretty much just CASing the main enemy units, I am a CAS main myself.

I notice quite a bit of the comment section talking about small maps and big maps. I think gayjin should make it a choice either we want small or large maps, Maybe make a new game mode or maybe even like a select button on GRB for example that lets you select small or large maps. Edit: They could do the same for air rb. Also they could add another option for night battles to get a bit more of a real feel for the game whenever you want to make your choice.

Just downloaded the game because of this video. This looks like tons of fun. What game mode is this? I know I have to grind to get good planes but I am way more interested in doing AGM missions than just dog fights all the time.

20:00 while I understand your frustration here that the person jumped out, you have to understand something too. You were untouchable to this SAM-system. If you really wanted to, you could just throw a bomb from 12km out and just turn around again. Not much to do here with VT-1s and I understand the SAM's frustration here.
I wouldn't call it degeneration, but just an unfair interaction between an enemy that outclasses it's counter with way better equipment. If that was a Pantsir, we can start talking again.
All top tier SPAAs returned dangerous since November 2023. VT-1 as a "missile" is better than 95Ya6 if the targeted aircraft was at 10km, it has 50G overload, and I was in his effective range, 95Ya6 is a better missile if the target was at 12-18km, Pantsir S1 as a system is better because no RWR warning but that doesn't mean it has the best missile in all situations. Unfairness in WT is a thing we got used to, when Pantsir S1 came out it was a shock and a true nightmare, however pilots weren't leaving their planes and J Out in the sky, I never saw one doing that. Also, my GBU will capture the target mid air at 3km distance or less, if he moved few meters after drop my bomb would capture nothing but ground. People think GBU-8 is a pure guided bomb, it is not.

I'd generally prefer a seperate match rotation for city/small type maps. I do understand why people like those maps, but I feel like those take away from gameplay way too much, not just CAS but also positioning. It's mostly about twitch reactions, which combined with the WT netcode gets frustrating real fast. I usually play the less dense areas if I get those maps. Say the open ground on Breslau or the longer streets on Sweden. I dislike those maps with a passion though.
Removing Cargo port was honestly one of the best decisions Gaijin has made in a while...

I think you should go for F-16C.
For your first I’d say F-16 ADF then move onto the F-16C. ADF is the better dog fighter but the C gets TWS and Aim9Ms

yeah man, the one in DCS is F-15E Strike Eagle, the real one. In WT we have F-15A, this model as I heard didn't even carry bombs in real life.

This is why the Su-27 is lacking, I don't even think they should wait for the F-15C, gaijin needs to add the Su-30M or Su-27M (basically just adding multirole function, neither are crazy planes compared to the 27 in game now).
A new Su-25 is coming with Thermal camera. Not a multirole but it will be very nice for CAS.

DEAD is correct but not as popular as SEAD. Both of them are wrong to be used in my title, but it is just a term to tell the viewer that a lot of the kills were SPAA, not only tanks.
