- Ladies and Getlemen, this is your pilot speaking, my name is Tseno and here we are with another drag race just for you! This is between some of best german luxury limousines on the market.
The Porsche Panamera turbo with its 550hp against new facelifted 2020 BMW 750i with the updated 4.4 Liter V8 with 530hp. Are you ready for this one? Let's go!

You forgot to mention that the 750i is with winter tires setup - 245/45/19 on the four wheels while the Panamera was with winter tires on his stock wheels.

Out in South Africa we do not have very extreme weather conditions so not need for winter tyres. Did the winter tyre setup of either car give them an advantage?

Use the B7 Alpina if you want performance and luxury I bet it smokes the panamera.
I would also say the M850i is the counterpart to the Oanamera not the 750! The M850 would smoke the panamera!

true, but it is really early for us to have it here in Bulgaria (talking about the new without the betteries and the extra weight from them)
750i actually puts down the power very well. It is not even an M performance model and it keeps up with the top end Panamera Turbo. (I know there's a Turbo S after facelift but before that it's only Turbo)
Porsche really lost their way of their high performance models during 2017-2020. The top Turbo petrol models are all underpowered by a lot. (except 911)
I think the 750i is truly impressive for the platform it is based on. I enjoyed driving it a lot. The panamera gave very good results for the rated 550hp. But you are right, for that amount of money the other german brands are closing the gap very very well. Thanks a lot!
Basically It is M performance, has the same engine as in M550i M850i X6/X5 M50i but on 7 series M760li is theoretically M performance

@@MrAditza95 nope it is not m performance al these cars are the second fastest of bmw its the same as the 53 series of amg these are cars with almost an m performance engine but the rest of the car is not m performance think of brakes, chassis, tires everything in an m car is different in an m50 car it isnt

i see you've driven the amgt gt63s, panemera turbo 680 ps, gtc 4 lusso and m8 - which would you buy as the best car for mix of compfort, tech, luxury, performance and fun?
Without thinking with the current discounts, I will get the AMG GT63s 4door. Almost perfect car.
@@CarswithPilotTseno you know i did get the amg after much research and test driving.
But on b roads in the uk i really didnt like it - great sound great power but ride really stiff and struggled with roads that weren't nice smooth tarmac. Also turbo lag wasnt great. But gears and tech awesome. after 5 months of the merc I then drove the turbo s e hybrid sports tourismo and loved it - so much more compfortable and better handling across all roads, less lag, 100% better fuel consumption, as fast. As the daily driver my verdict is porsche all the way now. but i totally get why you and I went for the amg - it was too much fun not to have and i dont regret having it - but if i want to go quickly down less travelled twisty roads - porsche way better and more relaxing on cruising drives. It feels best made of all the cars in this category i tried - gtc,rs7 and am gt 63. More i look at gt63s the more i struggle with why the made it the way they did - now ive experienced what porsche can do to their cars of similar size/weight/speed.

Build quality was for me huge concern for GTC4Lusso. And the V8 version is just not special enough. The v12 is on the other hand very emotional car!

Also the M850i is more of a counterpart to the panamera not the 750 they are two different body types.
The 850 Gran Coupe is almost exactly the same body style as panamera!

Porsche is, has and always will be greater than BMW. It just is what it is.
The 7 series is mostly for luxury and its rear wheel drive that’s why it had no chance against the Porsche. But the Porsche is all wheel drive that’s why it had a better advantage and it’s also had electric motors. And a huge thanks to the Audi for participating without that Audi the race wouldn’t be more fair, but otherwise wonderful race and really fantastic would love to see more of the BMW cars in action against the Mercedes and Porsche 👍🏽👍🏽🙏🏽

What a beefy sound by the BMW, and that in a fat 7-series sedan, just awesome ♥ but the Porsche also sounds great. The new grille goes well with the 7 Series . . . . .but is a matter of taste. The BMW is very fast for a sedan, but it has no big chance against the Porsche . . . . .he has other qualities. Clear victory for the Porsche.

I think the RS6 wasn't tuned because if tuned by Abt with approx 700 hp and winning with such a less margin from porsche well actually porsche was kinda catching up in the end . So I believe that rs6 was stock ...tuned by abt also could mean an exhaust or emblems bought from there 😃😅
True, we have no clue, the owner came, joined the race and left 😂 that’s all he said, that it was tuned by ABT to around 700hp. 😂

Should be in the region of 650-700. Our RS6 c7 is rated 745hp on a Dino and runs 10.8-10.9 1/4mile at around 210km/h.

I treid to compare them in terms of HP, Engine, weight and dimensions difference and these are the closest on paper. Still I found it very impressive to see how they compare.
In terms of power, weight, and gearbox, they are almost identical. As for aerodynamics, it is not a huge difference either. The most aerodynamic cars on sale right now are particular BMW, MB, and Tesla sedans (Google and you will see). Yes, you read that right. Sportscar, supercar, or coupe does not necessarily mean lower Cd.
Nice runs Porsche def under rates the Panamera HP numbers… actual numbers are more like a 600hp car

The weakest M5 has 600hp, which is 50hp more than the Panamera, I think the panamera with it's luxury fits much better against the 7 series...

Porche have better aero dynamics than the bmw also the slight down grade in power of bmw means automatic defeat
This why I wanted to test it, but to me the BMW showed impressive performance for its weight and size.
