Cummins hydraulic pump working @ low rpm

(First HD movie) 6 Cylinder Cummins Turbo diesel hydraulic pump. Do not have a clue what model it is :P . But some say its either a NTC 290 BIG CAM 1 or 855 CDI

Well, I figured that out, 6BT's were used in some dodge trucks\cars. It does have a turbo, correct me if I'm wrong, but turbos wasn't introduced on trucks before early 60's. Even if it is a 50's engine, it still looks pretty good shape.

Hi there if you stop on 0:39 you will see it says big cam on the side of the block, no aftercooler ,so it is probably ntc 290 big cam 1, 855 cdi for sure

another thing as far as the age it is a big cam 1 they started making them around 1978 or so I could be corrected they replaced the small cam

my boss has a 4cylinder MB-17 generator... i'm guessing it's a 'big cam'... it's a '68 model.. no turbo.

What kind of pressure and gpm are u making?

I dont know. It only powered a crane showed briefly at 1:05. In this clip it was used to put a 20-ish ft aluminium boat (buster x or xl) in the water. This was not my installation, I filmed this because the engine had a very nice sound to it.
