Thanks for the review! I've just received the DB Ramverk 26L backpack in Gneiss colour. Unfortunately I will be returning this, despite having bought it on sale. There are just too many compromises for me to justify keeping this despite its nice aesthetic. It kinda doesn't fulfil either category as a camera bag or an EDC for me, but may well suit those for minimal travel.
For it to function as a camera bag - you really need a CIA which will set you an extra $100+ depending on size. Sure you could get alternatives off a certain website but it is also needed to maintain the structure of the bag as otherwise it is quite collapsible. I think even Lowepro or Thule bags with a similar shape fulfil this role much better. I wish there was more compartment space either at the front or on the side.
The laptop compartment isn't great and padding is thin. Sure it can fit my Macbook 16" (but only without a padded sleeve) but I can feel it wedge on my back which can be uncomfortable. Not really a bag for day hikes as the ventilation is poor.
The material isn't waterproof and I would've liked to see sealed zips, though I wonder if the Pro version has this and is at least splashproof looking at the photos? You could get around this by buying a waterproof cover that fits this from any outdoor store, or buy a more waterproof outdoor backpack with good ventilation and fit along with a separate camera insert combo.
The 2 roles I see this backpack being useful is either: street-style photography (though there are many good / similar options out there) during the day, or as a weekend travel bag if you are into your travel packing cube organisation with its clam-shell design (again I think there are better alternatives out there).

Thank you for watching and definitely some great points! Although I like the aesthetic and space offered by this one I agree there are definitely a lot of great options for the use cases you mentioned that would be good to check out

Nice one, again? Did you have a chance to check their 32L? I am curious about its capacity for traveling as it basically a big bucket

Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! I haven’t had a chance to check that one out yet, but if I am able to get one to review I will definitely do a video for it:)

Good review overall and you did point out some high key factors one no chest strap no serum strap is kind of an issue especially when you can't add one to it the second thing is there's no water bottle pocket on the outside which is kind of a buy don't buy key point for me I don't want to be open in my bag to put my water bottle on my drink inside. Not only is it inconvenient but if there is an accident in my bottle does open up I'd rather it not be leaking on the inside of my bag. And as for the computer compartment not having a bump zone or a safety zone at the very bottom of the bag is kind of a no no or computers and laptops they are not cheap so spending a extra couple of dollars on design to have a Cushing zone at the bottom of the bag where you're sitting it down all the time really does make somebody wonder if they should buy the bag. I can understand why there's not a lot of ventilation in it because it kind of appears to be a city bag or say a office bag but ventilation is necessary. Even if it does change the look a little bit it is a good thing to have. Also the computer compartment should have a little bit more of a rigidity to it or at least if they built a neoprene within the computer compartment that would really help the safety and security of your device Plus if you just happen to be caught in a downpour rain out of nowhere it should protect your computer a lot more.

I'm considering that pack. I like this one but it's way too much money (here in Australia)

    Does it have strapkeepers?

Thank you for watching! The bag does include strap keepers but even while using them it felt like there was a good amount of leftover strap when I had adjusted the bag where I wanted it

    A non-suspended laptop compartment is a deal-breaker for me.

Thank you for watching and definitely a fair point, it’s a feature I wish every bag with a laptop compartment had!
