The Three P's of the Summer Garden
Join me this week at the farmhouse while we talk about the three P's of summer. Summer seems to be the busiest time for me as a homemaker.
Along with all of the normal homemaking duties the garden springs into action filling my life with so many new jobs that need to be done.
Everyday there is a job to do that is related to the garden there is either something that need to be planted or maybe picked and there is always something that needs to be preserved for the upcoming winter months.
While I love the task of gardening it is hard work and time consuming but it is worth all of the trouble when you see the results of your labor.
Potatoes, sweet potatoes, garlic, onions, peppers, green beans, tomatoes. All of the garden things that need tending to in this video.

You have to “make hay when the sun shines”, a saying I heard all of my life. That’s the life of someone doing any type of gardening. If you don’t, then you planted it all for nothing. It’s hard work but we’ll worth it when we have all the fruits of our labors, stored and ready for our families. 🌾🌞

THE RACK is a BREAD rack, or hotdog hamburger roll rack... when they have overstock of either product at grocery stores, you'll see the product on the racks...
Works well for you... =)
I grew up freezing corn, making sauce, storing potatoes, beans peas etc....i know how much work goes into each process...You have a great setup outside...for corn.....SUMMER IS
HARD WORK, BUT NOTHING TASTES BETTER IN WINTER THEN ENJOYING ALL THE FRUITS OF YOUR LABOR =)
So sad with all the damage to your plants with storm, glad your crops were ok though. Jist harder harvesting..

Hi, I am in the deep south, I don't think I have a specific video about the blueberry bushes, maybe I can make one. We didn't get any blueberries this year due to a very late freeze. That rack did serve me well, thanks for watching my video.
