  • This is the most amazing Aquascape front entrance fountain we ever built. The homeowners gave us freedom to create whatever we wanted to come up with. (This is the same property as the big waterfall from our last video: • We Finished our BEST W... )
    If you're looking for front door or front entrance fountain ideas for the showpiece of your property, hopefully this helps!
    This job took about 4 days to build, and is in the 40-50k range.

      Pretty simple, just drive up to it with skid loader and dig it out with forks

    You could have been the classic cliffhanger writer for TV. This is like waiting to see if the Fonz made it over the pool with the shark in it.

    Wow! Just spectacular. Love the natural look with incorporating the stumps and moss/ferns. Was this in Washington? You mentioned that you worked with Dan.

      Nope this was in PA, same property as the waterfall we built with Dan

    Do you have worry about the stability of the stumps over time with the water feature elements, or do you seal them in some way to prevent decomposition?

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping  4 роки тому

      We don't seal them no. We try to stick to locust wood stumps because they are extremely hard. We also try to keep them out of the water so they don't rot. I'd say they're good for 10-20 years

    The natural elements; rocks and especially stups... they rot and break down. How do you project their integrity and stability in the project? I've attempted to use logs and stumps in the past. They only keep their look and placement for around a year, especially the freeze and thaw of winter. I had to remove them because they collapsed and began breaking the whole project down.

      Don't let the driftwood be in the water. If it is in the water, make sure it's not a structural part of the fountain. Boulders don't break down. Poorly built rock work will collapse, but boulders don't disintegrate.

    Thx for showing the plumbing detail! I'm working on my 1st manifold right now so this is very helpful. I like the irrigation valve boxes as a central point of control. What size pump are running out of each vault?

    Great build !!!
    Do you think we could build these for public round about circles? Aka traffic circles. Here in Israel, traffic circles are used everywhere for traffic control. They are landscaped yet would look so good with waterscapes. Can this be built to withstand kids all over it?

    amazing center piece ..just wondering what are the electrical requirements for a system like that ?

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping  4 роки тому

      Depends on the pumps you choose. This one was a regular 20 amp circuit

    SO dont take this wrong it looks epic. But if it where my house and that was out front I would have loved to have a stream of water that shot across, I believe they are called jumping water jets. And even cooler if it had the ability to change color. Not a constant stream but one that just came on for 10 seconds every minute......Just enough to make people watch and wait for it....either two of them going across or 4 of them going to each corner of the basin.......

    What size pump do recommend for a project with multiple urns and spheres?

    • @Tusseylandscaping
      @Tusseylandscaping  4 роки тому +1

      You can get about 4 2" discharges off of an AquaSurge 4-8
