i watched this video until the very end i am an x Londoner now in Australia loved every minute of it and the rain made it as i remember walking in the old days .Thank You for a great video
I work outside and it hit 100 yesterday and nearly got their today. This helps as my air conditioning tries to keep up. seeing the word ambience makes me think of Mickey Flanagan as he uses it in his stand up.
It was really a rainy night but magical at times!!. Some London avenues never seem to sleep. Other more discreet streets are marvelous in their solitude, their silence and their illuminations. The blues are wonderful. Thank you WW for this relaxation of the mind.
Love Covent Garden and videos like this always make me think of the people that campaigned to save it, and Seven Dials from redevelopment back in the 1970's.
Loving the wet night lights, it's like an artist has gone wild on the canvas. Thank you. Saw the 4 WW Logos, 2 were very close together. Oops will have to watch again, you said 3 logos.
Most people may not know this: if you press "Show more" beneath the basic trip description you'll find a lot more interesting information. I like that you provide itinerary details such as time, date, weather conditions, and even maps. Thank you for going the extra mile when creating your videos, yes, pun intended.
A 2am walk WW! Will watch this soon, though likely not at 2 am! Btw I've watched part of your previous video re rainy walk whilst on the stationary bike for 60 mins earlier today. Loved it, especially all the reflections as well as the general ambiance. Will watch the rest of that soon as well as this video of course. This video is playing now in the background as I write this and I can clearly hear the rain. Hope you didn't get soaked WW. This brings back memories of some of your rainy walks from last year, including your very spooky Halloween walk from last year. I seem to recall that was even a premiere and folks commenting on how spooky it was!
Hello Ibrahim, I do love all the reflections in the rainy night walks. I will aim to do another premiere for Halloween so we can all catch up hopefully!
@@WatchedWalker Hello WW. You've reminded me of that tune in decades gone by "I love a rainy night" by Eddie Rabbit. Well now, another Halloween premiere would be interesting. I vividly recall the Spice Girls in particular being quite "spooked out" last year! Anyhow, hope all is well with you. Mum and I have a bit of a break with all our events and trade shows...for a short while at least! An opportunity to get a lot done around the house before we get very busy with outings again. Will be at Spirit of Christmas at London Olympia next week and looking forward to it as well as walking Kensington High Street. I remember you have filmed along there and recognizing the exact path you took. If we have time afterwards we will try visiting the London Design Museum, otherwise we can always do it on another occasion. Anyhow, take care and speak soon!
Hi there Ibrahim I agreebthe walk was just beautiful glad you all are well I'm find doing well following your lead on my bike too stay safe my friend Cindy 🥰⛱️🏖🏝
@@cynthiakeyes7197 Hello Cindy! How are you doing? Great to hear you are working out in the bike. I have to confess I haven't been on there fir about a week or so now but fully intend to resume my workouts. It's just that mum and I have been so busy with outings. Plus I have been sniffling and sneezing a bit. But I will most certainly return to my regular workouts. Today we are off to Kew Gardens Christmas lights. Is about a 2 hour drive from Canterbury. We've been several years in a row now and I always book the first timeslot of the day and mid week. Have also been visiting many garden centres which are truly well decorated for Christmas. I've done this back in Vancouver too as well as across the border in the USA many times. How are the garden centres in FL at this time of year and are you going to any Christmas lights events? I know very well also who in the USA some folks go all out to decorate their house, Clark Griswold style! Sometimes entire streets too! Anyhow take care and speak soon. I believe you also replied to another comment of mine and apologies for not replying. It's certainly never a case of ignoring you but just so busy.
Oh Ibrahim the different gardens are just so pretty at night we have several and in my neighborhood everyone gets all set up for the upcoming season so I know about being busy too when my mum was alive I would take her to see the light show all over as well we would end up at Disney course it would take us several days to enjoy them all in my area so glad you and your mum are out and about please take care of that cough don't catch cold bundle up good take good care my dear friend Cindy from Orlando Florida
Not only that your footage is awesomely captured, your sound is amazing too. That dump truck sounds like frickin monster. I'm doing a research for my personal art project, its supposedly a horror themed taking place in empty london street like this, and this video gave me soooo much inspiration, not only visuals but soundscape as well. Thank you so much for this video.
39:24 on the corner just outside John Snow Pub was the Broad Street Pump implicated in the 1854 Soho Cholera outbreak and the Physician's name who made the plague map and had the handle removed from the pump was Dr John Snow. 39:36 probably walking right over the spot where the pump was. 41:03 on the wall above the Rolling Stones 'mouth' is the Sprit of Soho mural, street beyond Carnaby Street
I forgot that parts of the West End never sleep; there are convenience shops and cafes open 24 hours. Looks like the casinos are too. Many years ago in the 1990s I worked in Equinox, Leicester Square when it was a nightclub. I used to walk home at 4am! So there's always people around at that time.
I love this channel . Like to watch before bed so atmospheric and full of relaxing properties, Bless you for creating it, how many times do you go out per week on average?
Real Londoners Know; Nothing beats a 2-4am walk around your borough and or central London. Especially during winter times. It's like that scene in Truman Show where, one minute a crowd of people are there, then in a flash, they're gone. Lockdown was a 'great' time, too. Night buses were still running, so I was at a nice quiet bench by the Thames near London Bridge, smoking a spliff, drinking some rum & oj, watching the stars, enjoying the 28 days later silence. You could Literally go the whole night without seeing another person.
WW, what a stunning rainy night walk! I’m just wondering did you have the P2 set to HDR? As it crops in a bit in that mode...it really has done the video justice by drawing in the architecture and making everything a little bit more close up & personal and the 30fps also helps give the exposure an extra punch! Thanks for sharing this masterpiece! OAAW
@@WatchedWalker Thanks for your reply. My apologies - a wrong assumption on my part! I don’t blame you not using it as the HDR function is not really true HDR and a bit gimmicky on DJI’s part. Enjoy your day WW 😊
I was going to say, "So THAT'S where the Peloton studio is!" and then there was that WW symbol 😎 Loved the ambiance of this one, it was great to watch while the sun was still rising here ☺️

The total lack of noise tells a story all on its own.
People asleep ?
