What a lovely girl she is. Dad must be very proud Horses seem to do more for Bryony than other riders. Its as if they just pull out more for a best friend
Bryony and Frodon both deserve more respect. You listen to some other jockey interviews and they could put even insomniacs to sleep they are that dull. Let’s go Bryony and Frodon!!!
Bryony conveys her enthusiasm so well. Interviews so much better than say the Ryan Moore's of this world. She deserves her success and none of the flack she gets.

Frodon has a great heart but Bryony knows him so well. They are a pair made in Devon (and Somerset). And as B said, Paul N's role shouldn't be overlooked. Extremely fit first time out and picked the right race. Well done all three. Also, great interview and was B picking up a bit of the Irish accent there? 😊
Nicholls should be praised for travelling his horses doesn't wrap them up and only race them here. The reason the Irish are so gd is they race against each other are competitive. Have great horses and jockeys. Paul Nicholls pinched one here bringing Frodon he deserves it for doing that alone. Great days racing.
I come from an era where you just wouldn't back a horse if it had a female jockey. How times change. Bryony, Rachael, Hollie are breathing much needed fresh air into the sport and long may it continue.

Delighted for Byrony, she is a very good jockey. Not good that the other jockeys didn't congratulate her, she is standing up for herself and more power to her.
Saturday's racing and before the Grade 1 feature at Down Royal, let me wrap up the other races. At Newmarket, Kawida (getting the better of 80-1 runner, Flash Betty, another runner pulled up roughly halfway through the contest), Bay Bridge (in another close finish) and Zakouski (perhaps the most impressive winner on the day) were the feature winners on the card. At Wetherby, Indefatigable won the feature staying Grade 2 hurdle race where former champion stayer Paisley Park finished third. The race was led most of the way by Master Tommytucker. Feature race at the course was the Charlie Hall Chase, a race with stellar names like One Man and See More Business. Paul Nicholls, who trained the latter great chaser during the late 1990s/early 2000s had a runner called Cyrname who was going well but Shan Blue took the lead into the home straight for the final time with a clear advantage. Cyrname eventually pulled up but Shan Blue fell at one of the fences leaving Fusil Raffles to score in a dramatic race. So to Down Royal and Fil Dor romped away with the opening hurdle race and a similar result in the Grade 2 chase, the return of Envoi Allen and winning jockey Rachael Blackmore got a pat on the back.

Great ride??? Bryony was just a passenger. She gets on well with the horse, but most of the credit, should go to Frodon. He looked in trouble, when the others loomed up to challenge, but he kept finding more. Fantastic little horse!

Really not sure where you get passenger from, watch the race again and you you will see that Bryony Frost rides a very clever race, gives the horse a breather then injects a little pace and does that several times. She knows that the horse will respond and she rode him to just about perfection

Great I follow racing to see horses like him
So to the Grade 1 Champion Chase and five runners lined up. Frodon led from the start and all of a sudden, four runners were in close contention as the race came to a conclusion. Minella Indo faded and Frodon's last challenger was Galvin and Bryony Frost's mount did enough to record an emotional and thrilling victory. She, Paul Nicholls and connections have had their day in the sun. Watched Sunday's racing as well including the Cork Grand National in awful conditions.
Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter and Melbourne Cup in Australia. I will watch them both on Saturday. Enjoy.
