@@GoneKayaking haha yeah I saw it was moored. I was just imagine someone sleeping in the cabin and seeing a kayaker paddle by haha I can imagine the shock on their faces
Thanks Pawel. Mine is a canoesport b4. It wasn't a scientific choice, it was a bargain on ebay while my Werner was away for a new ferrule. Its about 215cm. Rosa and Zoran are both using a werner camano. Rosa has my 215cm with the new ferrule and Zoran is using a shorter 205 one.
Hello. The round trip was around 13km on the GPS. The crossing itself is around 4km of open water each way. Its not a crazy distance but the tides are often quite lively in the Solent so this crossing still needs some thought and planning to be safe - especially as mentioned in the video some of the team had low flying hours. If you are keen to try the route, I will be happy help.
@@GoneKayaking Thanks, general interest as I live on the West Coast of Canada, looks interesting low. If I am in that neighbourhood I will reachout. Fairwinds
@@TC-iz1im Great. We're always happy to meet new paddlers. I'll be in Toronto briefly in the next month or two. Maybe I'll have the chance to do a little video on the lake.
I was thinking if anyone was inside that yacht when you went under it 😂
🤣 haha.. this was just moored thankfully. It would have been an extra challenge to do that while it was sailing.

Thanks Pawel.
