I loved seeing Caleb with the mic….wish we heard all of that. He has a great personality and a great sense of humor. Merry Christmas Marc, Trish and family!
WOW this was fun to watch. Loved seeing the solar set up. Oh my Charlie looked so good and loveable. Big Hugs to him. The wash job looked awesome. Glad y'all had a great time. Love y'all
I watched the Beard & Bun show prior to watching this one. If you haven't watched the Beard & Bun show yet, it's a must do. You guys make me want to RV so so so so much! LOVE THE COMMUNITY!
KYD crew, y'all were just having too much fun, but Texas has a little bit of everything to offer we always say! We suggest everyone with an RV should attend the NRVTA just to learn how to fix small things on your own rig. Great little place in Athens and they even have RV sites there on the property if you're attending one of the classes for a small fee! Just a side note to the Eiffel tower in Paris Texas, New Orleans, Louisiana actually has the old restaurant section that use sit atop of the original tower in Paris. When the Eiffel tower went under restoration in the 80s, they couldn't use that section. Somehow it made its way to New Orleans Garden District and was one of the best places to dine. It really was a grand restaurant (like it was in Paris) but just couldn't make it in NOLA for some reason. The last time we were there, someone had turned it into an event hosting place. And this past October was our most recent trip, the place looked like nothing much was happening there. Safe Travels and Happy Trails! Merry Christmas Everyone.
Ha, when I lived in Texas (born in CA) I developed an accent. Then in Alabama, oh boy. I would say “Let’s go to towan.” instead of town. I love Caleb. He keeps life fun.
Thank you again for yet another amazing year of entertainment and information. I hope in 2022 you will have the ability to come visit Canada again! Merry Christmas KYD Gang!
Route 66 has not been our favourite... but we're hanging in. Always grateful.😀 Looking forward to new adventures. Happy holidays to you all! Wishing you the best for 2022!
Caleb you’re killing me - “We got them thar good!” 😆 Merry Christmas KYD! (P.S. Marc, isn’t it proper for this highway to be called “Root 66” instead of Rowt 66? 😎 )
Another great video and honestly we needed it with our lock down situation again here in Canada. Seems like we are in a parallel universe. Keep us smiling and dreaming of when we can too hit the road again!
While in Paris, you were sooooo close to my hometown, Chicota, Texas. In the past 76 years since I was born, it has grown so much that it now has a flashing yellow light.
I have been watching your videos for a year or so..... am truly amazed at how much money you have spent. Either you have some serious money... or you are in serious debt. Way outside my lane. Also, I transport rv’s for a living. I haven’t seen a video on the build quality of the ones you have owned. And, I NEVER use the tow/haul feature. When you hit a grade of any kind, your transmission will drop 2 gears, not one. Very good way to overheat your engine/tran. Also very expensive. The tow/haul in my Ram 3500 cost me $1,800 the first time... $2,500 the second. I’m a slow learner. On a positive note... the energy you bring is outstanding. The sites, sounds, and taste Is Great..... but your son cracks me up ! Not an easy thing to do... I’m OLD. You did a GREAT JOB RAISING YOUR CHILDREN !!!! We won’t see your youngest on Americas Most Wanted. Too Bad, they could use his humor. Take care, keep the Dreams Alive !!!
Another great video! As I watched Caleb on that stage, I thought, "He's a natural!" Wouldn't be surprised to see him doing public speaking as a career. :)
It was nice to see that Ben Wheeler sign even for a split second. My father in law is from there and we always enjoy going to visit as it is such a nice little town, almost like dropping back in time.
We noticed when you were looking for damage from a curb you hit. That the sheet metel just above the bumper is wrinkled. Go for the TURBO!! Cubic $$=HP
OMG! I saw the Eiffel Tower Texas version. I just happened to be driving through town and didn’t even notice the name of the town until I was almost through town. I pulled over, did a little research, and bam! Hats off to you (like the one on their Eiffel Tower)! That Veterans Memorial was very well done, very informative!
Merry Christmas you all. Great video with Todd and the crew. That looked like so much fun. Then there's Caleb roasting his parents infront of the crowd. Safe travels.
Wish we could have known y'all where in our backyard in Ben Wheeler, TX. Soon as we get over this obstacle, we are going to start videoing for our channel. You guys are an inspiration! And tell Caleb he got them there words right!
I’m sure you have healed by now...but *ouch*! That looked painful. Drone blades are vicious! I hope you were ok. Merry Christmas to your family! Thank you for the joy and laughter you bring us all year long.
I was at your Tulsa Route 66 Bridge stop, Nov 9. The other end of that bridge is a brand new park that just opened, featuring three neon signs from historic motels of the past. The other side of that fancy pedestrian bridge is a hill named Cry Baby Hill. Enjoy your journey! I have enjoyed your journey, which has helped inspire my journey!
Oh my word……….I wanna be in the middle of all that !!!!😍 Oh and can you pass another note to the editor, stop editing, we want it ALL 🥰🥰 Awesome as always Blessings
I think it’s awesome that you guys came to Ben Wheeler Texas. That is were we live. We are actually selling our ranch right now and we are going to travel full time.
This video was soooo fun. I'm still laughing at Caleb's Texas talk antics and the video you shot with the beard and the bun. hahahaha That was hilarious. Merry Christmas ;guys.
In the early 80s, I worked at a HoJos that had shag carpet in the rooms. It was about 6 inches tall. When I was getting trained I was asking what is the rake for? After done sweeping, you had to rake your way out. If some one walked on the carpet it left footprints.
PS You need some Loctite sticky putty for Gary. It will keep him in place but come off and not leave residue. But then again, when he falls over, it is funny.
Caleb could be the next Dave Chappelle. He is naturally funny and he delivers the punchline at the exact moment it needs to be. He is a natural. This was a great video!
What a great video Mark,Trish and Caleb!!! Love the Gary takes and tipping over ,,,, that's sure how it is going down the highway! Flop Darn flop darn flop again..... Darnitt!!
If you had crossed the 11th street bridge there is a Route 66 sign park. Caleb is such a little Mark, lol.. Stay safe and healthy and have a Merry Christmas.
Back for a bit of post video comment: Polish the wheels unless they have a clear sealer on them , you can bring them to a super shine almost like chrome. MOTHERS mag polish and a LOT of elbow grease. Caleb can do this! ThomyT
Another fabulous episode. I had to watch your full interview on the Beard and Bun Channel. Made my day! P.S. I’m currently planning a camping trip to the Aliner North American Rally near Mount Rushmore next June. I’ve because of your Michigan video-I’ve included a crossing of Lake Michigan on SS Badger. Thanks! Safe travels! Muskoka ON 🇨🇦
I enjoy your videos and think your energy is great. Are there vaccination requirements for the E3 camping events? With Covid-19's variants an event like this would be risky. Especially since reports in the area have a significant increase in confirmed Covid cases. Your family doesn't appear to take any precautions any longer.
@@rebeccabarnes3330 I believe it is something that is regularly dismissed in Texas. If this is their mindset then they are not who I thought they were.
Welcome to Texas Paris also has a 130-mile bike trail, called Northeast Texas Trail or NETT Thank you for showing the Athens NRVTA School! Mark your graphics are getting better and better!
Drawing blood with the drone, yeah I've had to do first aid for my hubby. He was saving his from hitting the water! Looks like you had an exciting week!
My first go round with Go Karting was 1968. A friends brother had one. IIRC Go Karts were low to the ground. The one Caleb was riding looks more like a racing version. You all should develop an app that you can share with your KYD team members where they can track you on a map! Then they will always be in the Now-Now.
I stopped by the 66 car museum in Springfield Missouri this week and asked the guy if they had seen your video yet and he hadn’t so after I showed him he said he remained you👍 and if you did not eat at the cafe in the parking lot you really missed a good place to eat
I may have crossed the Tulsa bridge in April of 1967. I don't truly remember. I usually use my tow/haul to get up to speed then turn it off because in my experience with my setup I loose MPG.
The Paris, Texas Eiffel Tower may only be one-tenth the height of the Paris, France one. However, it DOES have a cowboy hat on top while the one in Paris is lacking a beret! LOL
I would have picked TC-TopCat or Ricochet Rabbit or Deputy Dog over Gary. I fix All of my own stuff from boards to refer/ac/heat /hot water suspension/ motor this stuff just comes easy to me. I know AC/ DC electronics and I have been an Estimator and Project Manager I have also owned my own 18 wheeler. I am the jack of all trades. I love my Keystone Vantage over the Airstream. My second time raising a family is almost over and for me, it will be a Monaco Knight or Holiday Rambler Endeavor and it must be a 2003 330hp turbo Cummins ISC Allison 3000. I hate depreciation also and I also hate anything that takes DEF. It is the front cap for me take a look at it I call it cat eyes.
Caleb is a born entertainer who hasn’t missed his calling. He is shining on this trip he’s hit the “ mother road”😂😆🤩
I loved seeing Caleb with the mic….wish we heard all of that. He has a great personality and a great sense of humor. Merry Christmas Marc, Trish and family!
He crushed the "hot seat". I was not expecting him to trap me like that!
That was awesome!
Caleb is a scene stealer, he cracks me up.
I think Caleb has a future in comedy!! He's such a hoot!. Merry Christmas Y'all from Washington state.
The RV classes are so valuable for first timers. Will attend one day which is getting closer each day. Merry Christmas KYD!
OMGosh you two never let me down. I'm smiling smiling smiling. Thank you for all you do! Jim.
It was awesome to have you guys here. We had a blast with you and the E3 team.
Likewise. Thanks for being such a great host! We'll be back 👍
Caleb …keep on talkin’ Texan …that look on your Dad was priceless 🤣🤣🤣, Merry Christmas folks , 🎄

Great timing. Just graduated from NRVTA yesterday!
How many weeks worth did you do?

Ha, when I lived in Texas (born in CA) I developed an accent. Then in Alabama, oh boy. I would say “Let’s go to towan.” instead of town. I love Caleb. He keeps life fun.
This was by far the funniest RV related video I’ve seen in some time! Looks like it was crazy fun in Texas. We are going to Kemah Tx. After Christmas.
I like Marc's ginger beard costume at the studio. Caleb is halarious! Great video!
Thank you again for yet another amazing year of entertainment and information. I hope in 2022 you will have the ability to come visit Canada again! Merry Christmas KYD Gang!

I've suggested a swear jar for every time he said route instead of "root" 😉😂🤣
I feel Mark telling Caleb to stop with accents a bit hypocritical. The nut doesn’t fall far from the tree!
You always make me laugh till I cry 🤣 That was one hell of a party 🥳!! Safe Travels guys 💙
YES! I worked at a motel with shag carpet and we did have a rake top use after vacuuming to make it stand up.
Paris Texas is 50 miles from our home town. We have a great state. Athens TX state hatchery is pretty amazing too.
Todd looked good in front of those Fords. 😜
What a great weekend!
Can your face hurt from 26:33 minutes of laughing? Why, yes, it can‼️ And, I thank you for it!
Always entertaining:) Thanks for Showing Tulsa in such a positive light. Can’t wait for next week! You guys are the best, very informative love it!!
Tulsa looked nice!
on the threshold 12.20.1983.... One day away from 38 years to the day.
I really enjoy your videos, but this one was really entertaining. I actually laughed out loud.
I am really enjoying your trip on Route 66. As John Steinbeck called it, "The Mother Road."

East Texas is awesome….. Gary looks like he enjoyed the trip.
Mark laughing on the talk show 😂 so great lol
So Fun to watch!! Always goes by too fast! Enjoy! and Thank You for Sharing!

I like Caleb's texan imitation!🤠
Very funny!🤣

Stainless steel folding table. Genius, pricey but genius. Now on my wish list.
Another great video. I really enjoy your selections of music cuts. Looking forward to next week when you visit my hometown.
Merry Christmas to the whole KYD family and big hugs to Charlie!!🎄🎄🎄 From Texas Y’all!

Texas is an awesome place to visit, love yall 3000!
Great video, I love Todd’s tech two minute Tuesday videos. Tell Caleb he can drive my Polaris Rzrs when y’all come to GA in March lol.
I’m sure you have healed by now...but *ouch*! That looked painful. Drone blades are vicious! I hope you were ok. Merry Christmas to your family! Thank you for the joy and laughter you bring us all year long.
Great video. Looks like everyone had fun.

I had green shag carpet and I raked it. Super boss bedroom in the '70's.
PS You need some Loctite sticky putty for Gary. It will keep him in place but come off and not leave residue. But then again, when he falls over, it is funny.
We tried that in the beginning, but the dash is made of vinyl and it stretches. but just as you said, it's so funny, we wait for him to fall now :)
Caleb could be the next Dave Chappelle. He is naturally funny and he delivers the punchline at the exact moment it needs to be. He is a natural. This was a great video!
I always enjoy watching u r videos, keep them coming. Wishing u & u r's, KYD, Happy holidays
Just great! Keep up the great videos and safe travels. Keep the rubber on the road.
What a great video Mark,Trish and Caleb!!! Love the Gary takes and tipping over ,,,, that's sure how it is going down the highway! Flop Darn flop darn flop again..... Darnitt!!

We need to make plans to attend this. I Think we could really learn a lot. Totally enjoyed the video. Lynn and Danny
i always LOVE watching your videos!
We needed a longer shot with Mark in the beard with Todd. LOL!
Links to the full videos in desc 👍 Oh, the red beard. Yeah, nah!

Enjoyed this, Would love to take a class a NRVTA
Great soundtrack merry Christmas!

Love you all…. Merry 🎅 Christmas!!
Merry Christmas, we loved having you with us
Just got the kyd hat I ordered and husband loves it! Great design
What fun! Love Caleb so funny.
Wish I would have known you were in Athens, its several only 90 miles away. Worth it to meet yall
WAITING ALL DAY FOR SUNDAY NIGHT! Merry Christmas everyone. Where's the BRONCO?👌🤠
Great video! We can't wait to wait to make it out to Texas and check out the NRVTA! It's on our list!
Thanks for the video. Has anyone said that Caleb is hilarious. Maybe he will become a stand up comedian.
Have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
