They should refurbish these units to improve accessibility so they can operate by themselves again. The 465s are adequately accessible, so there's no reason why we can't achieve the same with the 466s.
Exactly
The 466’s are used on the sheerness branch line aren’t they? Great video!
used to be now its 375/3s
Its cuz they don't have a disabled toilet nor a disabled space I think now they have to run with an accessible 465
I have such a fondness for the Networkers. I hope these can be refurbed and see more use in their own right again. Going to miss them when they're gone.
Same traction motors as the class 465/2 and 465/9
I don't know why but I keep laughing at those trains in a 2 car formation
no one cares
You cared because you replied. If you didn't care then you wouldn't have replied. Simple as that :-)

A 466 small trains like the 456. Great video. They sound like 365s but a like faster.
Class 365s are their like ..offspring so to speak hahaha. Since they were 465 hybrids at first I think.
Two coach emu. That's funny
ah so 466 is a 2 car variant of the 465
Exactly right
Gotta love these networker expresses even tho they have the same motor as a 365 ...
Nice video!
Thanks
Great video. Also, what do you use to film?

I think 466 can be on Chiltern Railways, if they will build a third rail.
The 165s are diesel networkers
I know but they can build a third rail for 466’s
Great video
Thanks
Nice mate
Thanks
Great
thanks
These 2 car units should be replaced by Class 375s because of Disabled regulations and the Class 466 should go back to London. Suburban Metro Services in conjunction with Class 465s in which they have Disabled areas onboard
I've never seen a double 466
Because it makes it cute
Why is it so short
I think its short becuase its used on shuttle services
These trains r used on the southeastern Sittingbourne to sheerness service. They used to be used on Strood to Maidstone but that route got taken over by the class 375
It couples up to 465s to increase capacity
@@millercool21 not always, they're also coupled up to another four car or 8 car trains when running services to and from London
@@Great_WesternTVFan always now since DDA rules
Did you know the class 325 and 465/466 look similar
No way dude
I just don't get the difference between these trains and the class 465
The 465s are 4 coaches and the 466s are 2 coaches well they're joined the 465 towards London between 6, 8 or 10 coaches long.
@@stickysticky1852 The 465/2 had there met-cam motors replaced with the Javlin motors. And most of the 465’s did. The 466s are one of the final trains to have the classic met-cam motors.
@@stickysticky1852 Also the 465/1 had their Brush traction replaced by Javlin motor’s.
@@lrvproductions that's not true. Only the 465 0/1s had their inverters replaced. They still have their brush traction motors. And the 465 2/9s are original too. The only change is most of the units have regen braking turned off
@@wharris302 I got confused. It was the 465/0 and /1 that had their traction replaced.
Ah yes, an electric pacer
