@@Rico yeah, funny especially since I literally said on Saturday evening at 9pm "oh no, I forgot to get my groceries now I got to starve till monday" 😂
Hey, Rico, in Brasil and Latin America as well, there is always a work to fill up the tank for you in gas stations! But there will no be in the future! I like your video and your English is very clear!
One of Cyprus's greatest treasures that nobody mentions is Commanderia. It's a rich red wine with a history traceable to the crusades in the 12th century. Very enjoyable with cheese and crackers after dinner.
If you see a building with steel rods sticking through the top this is because VAT at 19% is payable on a new property only when the building is finished. These rods are for the next floor that has yet to be built. It's called Tax avoidance and is legal. Even if you build the the next floor the process can be repeated.
Hi great channel! :) I am joining the Cypress party next year. Your channel helps me a lot because you provide useful information without bloviating :)
Nice Vlog, Ricco! Yeah Paphos and outskirts are my favorites on the island. Limassol is a hopping place but it’s quieter in Paphos and more relaxed. Not to mention the awesome amount of historical sites that are within the town. The other maybe weird thing is the amount of weddings that take place. Since many people know each other, the locals feel obligated to attend weddings and giving out money or gifts. They have to budget for that each year. Well maybe not a weird thing, but certainly it’s the generosity of the Cypriot people
Hey Andre, thank you. Yeah, I agree with you, that's why I moved to Paphos and feel very good here. And yes, I know it from first hand, my accountant also attends so many weddings, and they really put a lot of effort into that.
I can confirm Rico is right about how hot it is in Paphos in August, having just returned to the UK from there! A great vlog Ricco - really interesting info and v useful - thank you
We was in Cyprus febuary first time stayed in paphos it seemed very English there as in drive in sane side a lot of English shops and people was amazing and so nice to you loved it and will be back next febuary next destination in august fuerta Ventura 🌞🌞😁😁
Some of the things you talked about dear Rico,,are simply awful, the fireworks, the overbuilding ,I wish they woud put an end to all this! As far as the heat,,,,I suggest to all the friends wanting to visit Cyprus to do it in October :) Maybe the best time of the year , still warm,,,the seawater is also warm and not thousands of tourists everywhere:) xx
Hello, Rico! I was recently in Limassol, but also visited Paphos. It was gorgeous!me and my familly would like to move in Paphos...what advice do u have concerning work places there?
Hey there! Nice to hear from you and I'm sure you loved it. For the job market I can't say very much, as I'm working online, but I'm sure there are many opportunities. I wish you the best!
When you say we all the time it shows how much you love the island and we need more people like you. Keep up! Also you can export cats yo Germany amd get super rich 😂

Hey mate! I know so many people moving from Malta to CY. Interesting! You'll definitely see me around in Paphos. Excited to talk to you! Enjoy your time and good move! :)
No Cyprus isn't clean ,many places are dirty full of trash plastic , there are so many bad damaged roads , no sidewalks, and it's full of messy buildings, the cities are so ugly ,no trees, no parks , the only beautiful thing are the cats and the beaches here, nothing else
Reference the buildings, the Golden Visa thing is well out of it, there was a problem when the banks closed we have had this for decades there are buildings all over Cyprus that are half finished for over 30 years so the golden visa wasn't here then
Fireworks are a pest, here in Limassol it is every single night i'm not talking Sat and Sun arseholes in Limassol are ding it every single night and we don't live in the tourist area
"Everything is open every day" My experience is exactly the opposite to be honest. Not only everything is closed on Sundays and very often Saturdays but Wednesday is also a short day for many stores and companies.

Hi Rico. Is not incommon for us. I am from Paphos and I am now living in Switzerland and I found uncommon the oppoaite things.
None of the point was weird, all are very common in India as well, except that Cats are less in India, you will find dogs, and some cows as well.
