Building an entire coop while playing a constant game of fetch is the truest form of multitasking I’ve ever seen!😂I love your dog so much.💛
When my mom rakes leaves in the yard our dog will put the ball in the pile of leaves. If you take too long to throw it she will start playing herself, which means spreading all the leaves back around the yard 😅
Pup was like u started this through a window no stopping now lol
Can't believe your dog built this whole thing on his own. What a good boi!
Alex showing the chickens how to go up and down the ramp is the kind of wholesome I needed today ❤️
It gives me so much happiness watching her show the chickens how to go up and down the ramp
If they're having trouble getting from the bar to the laying area, you could get a plank of wood to fill the gap, maybe.
that's what I was thinking as well 🐔
My thoughts exactly
This is what I was going to suggest as well.
Yes, it seems like a strange design - it should have come with that plank.
A) That chicken coop is so adorable!
B) I think Lucki needs a dog house in that style to just chill in!!!
C) Just wanted to share a little tip with you. If you keep something egg sized in the nesting areas, it will help the chickens remember where to lay their eggs. My parents have had chickens for years and they usually keep a few golf ball in the nesting areas of their coop. That way they don't have to hunt for eggs every day.
To add to your last tip: they sell "eggs" you can give to chickens to help get them broody or to give to a chicken if they are constantly trying to steal other eggs to sit on. I'd imagine she could use that to get them to lay eggs in the right place, or just put out a few of their already layed eggs where she wants them to lay.
My parents do the same thing with these little plastic eggs, it really does help
There's also beautiful ceramic eggs, those might suit the style of the coop better than plastic🤗
I was just wondering how chickens know where to lay eggs, thanks
My friend used to paint the golf balls and write the chickens’ names on them haha
I didn't think the coop would live up to its 1700 dollar price tag, but it sure did! It looks amazing😍
Alex!! You can always give your sweet silkies a little haircut up top! Trim the floof around their eyes and they can see a little better. They’re such sweet hens, they’re my favorite next to the rhode island reds
IM SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU UPLOAD! I know I’m not the only one who’s been missing your videos lately 💕
agreed!
Same and this was such a sweet and funny video
i hope alex continues to do crazy things with her sponsorship money forever and ever and ever lol
I'd live in that tiny house, lol. The chickens are so cute with those poofy heads.
Watching you "show" the girls how to find their way around .... so wholesome very sweet. Dog content accurate lmao
Looking at coop i wonder if a wee shelf might help them with the crossing if they continue to struggle. My girls were always happier on the ground bless them where as my "normal hens" lol sleep high up as possible. I miss having silkies such cuties.
This gives off the same energy as calling in all the siblings to assemble the birthday Lego sets 😂
i'm SCREAMING i'm living for this content, the chickens... friends... baked goods with fresh eggs... doggie doing a zoomie..... learning chickens how to climb.......
ive never had an interest in chickens but this video was ... very interesting and actually really entertaining, im weirdly invested in the chicken coop now
But same. I now want a chicken
@@ggyytgcvc I always thought they were good pets. They are affectionate and loyal. Aside from them singing (depends whether you get a male or female) and really not having control on when they poop (there’s diapers for that). Everything thing else is just easy.
Your dog and the ball has made the video 10 times better 😂😂❤️❤️ i love it
And I'm freaking excited for part 2 🤩
I would love a whole dedicated series just on the chickens! So adorable!!!
I agree!
I just picture Dan upstairs working and every so often looking out the window and shaking his head 😂😂😂😂
Watching Alex patiently walking her chickens was the therapy I never knew I needed
Thank you for this!!!!
Watching you teach extremely fluffy chickens how to walk up and down that ramp was the highlight of my week.
The chickens learning the ramp just melted my heart ❤️
Loki is the cutest lil senior fluff! Since the structure is wooden you can totally add a lil plank so the chickens don't have to jump or even make a ladder that's less steep.
Also, I was thinking that grippy stuff on the ladder, like they use on wooden deck stairs (I have no idea what it's called, it's a bit like sand paper?) could help them with traction.
I have missed Lockey so much, my heart is bursting. He looks so healthy from when I first saw him. 🥺
Don't worry, if something is missing, Sam will make it. Hi Sam, glad to see that you are back too.
I raised bantams growing up and I remember that it was important to keep at least one non-bantam in the flock. You are correct, they are a bit dopey and uncoordinated, but they learn quickly from each other. Just one smart brahma who knew how to "chicken" correctly taught the whole flock. Your little chicklets seem to trust you thoroughly, you must be an excellent mama!
You teaching the girls the way of the coop was so adorable. The rest of the video was, too! I love your friends and you interacting all together so much.
Omg stop, lockie is far too cute with his ball 😍 literally the best part of this video, I can't lie 😂
I love the little windmill! Maybe you can talk to your neighbor to see if you can meet the dog and give it treats so it will get used to you and not see you as a threat to its territory.
Loki is literally every dog whenever you try to do anything complicated 😂
Have you ever seen Rachel Maksy try to sew something when her dog is around. Gives the same vibe. The animals are all so cute, love to watch the silly quirks the have.
Aww the “good boy” waiting patiently for a ball toss is the kind of content needed today
The amount of getting along together, little hits here and there, chickens and doggos makes this by far one of my favorite videos!
This was so lovely to watch! I love the subtitles you give all the animals and how much care and attention you give them all.
Can't wait for the the Wish gardening chaos video.
Omg Lockie and playing fetch , my heart ❤️
Love the coop and the fancy chickens so much! Can't wait for part 2!
The building with lucky when he brings his ball so adorable 🥰 and the chickens are so sweet.
I cannot stop laughing at sam smacking you in the face with a random object every 5 minutes
Thank you Hello Fresh from all the chickens xxx
Am I terrified of chickens? Yes.
Have I fallen in love with those fluffballs? Also yes xD
ok you showing each of the chickens how to get down the ramp was the most blessed thing ever
I used to have 26 hens, all rare and endangered breeds, & I sold their beautiful eggs as a business. I pampered my girls too with no regrets! Its amazing how different each hen is. Feather people are the best & i wish more people knew that they're as smart, funny, sassy, & sweet as dogs or cats💗
Alex your chickens are beautiful and your dog is adorable. I love how he constantly dropped the ball. I really enjoyed watching💜
I really like Sam and Alex’s friendship.
Michelle’s hair is so pretty purple! She’s glowing :D 💜
As a person who's owned chickens since I was a kiddo, I'm so excited to see this!
An Australian saying we have terrifying creatures? 😂 and you included hamsters on that list, holy shit 😂😂 please come visit, I’ll take you to the wild animal park and it’ll be so fun!!
I ran to the comments when she said that 😂😂 they have dingos and all sorts of things that want to kill you, and KANGAROOS 😂😂.
the dog bringing the ball every 30 seconds is my highlight 😂
Doggo is truly the star of the show. Missed u Alex! ♥️
The best moment in this whole video was Alex telling a chicken to step up.
The birds stay! Love seeing garden and chicken content
OH MY GOD THE CHICKENS ARE SO ADORABLE AND THE DOGGO WHO KEPT GIVING YOU THE BALL, MY HEART IS HAPPY
Your chickens are so cute! Nice to see you, Alex! 💜💜💜
The ball blop is absolutely adorable
No video for a few weeks and then.. chicken coop! I love your randomness!
I can't have chickens of my own, even though I would love to have some. So, I will live through you and your fabulous ladies. They're so gorgeous!
You can get some button quail and keep them indoors
@@SobrietyandSolace I am sure my cats would love that.
I think it's so funny how the dog keeps bringing the ball back for you to throw the whole build.
Ping pong balls work really well for giving chickens a hint as to where they should be laying their eggs. Great video!
The terrifying American animals said the Aussie...
😆
i love the way you didn't shut the animals away to let you work in peace, and let them all just hang out the whole time ❤️
Your adorable doggo and his constant desire for fetch are my favorite part of the video. I’m so glad to see you!!!
Did Sam enjoy beating you with the coop pieces?? He got a few bumps in! 🤣🤣
That was adorable!! I love you showing them how to use the ramp and roost 😊
The coop looks great. I have chickens as well and a few bantams.
If you have problems with that gap at the top of the ramp you could get a plank of wood cut to size bunnings does a few cuts for free and sit it on top of the brackets the rod is sitting on at the top of the ramp. It could make it easier for the chickens to get to each nesting box. Thanks for the new video I enjoyed it
Watching Alex walk the chickens up the little ladder was better than therapy 😅
Loki is the happiest helper.
Your bird of paradise is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could honestly just watch content of you, Lucky wanting to throw someone their ball and the chickens all day
Never knew I had a love for chickens until now. Buy I'm completely obsessed with their little floofy heads
your dog is the best part of this video 😭 so sweet 🤍🤍
3:50 can someone PLEASE throw that ball for good boi Lachie? 🥺
There is no reason for me to be watching a chicken coop video but dang it, Alex- you could make a video about anything and I'd be all about it!
I was so focused on the dog and his ball i forgot what the video was about
I have 30 chickens myself and seven parrots. I love my bebes. Your ladies are absolutely precious 💕
omg I absolutely loved this video! I'm a chicken mum myself so found it wonderful seeing all of the girls personalities and to see how much you care for them ❤
you walking the chickens up and down the stairs was a hoot. Cheers!
This was the wholesome chicken content that I needed today.
Love this video! One day I will have chickens and I love to learn about them. Your silkies have made me want a couple of them because they are so cute!
Sam really is a seriously amazing friend.
6:52 and in their last, desperate attempt, the doggie asks us, the audience to throw the ball. truly, a cinematic masterpiece.
So invested in this can’t wait for Part two
Cutest ball-obssessed dog ever.
Nothing better before work than watching my favorite wholesome fowl mouthed humans building tiny houses and playing with chickens 💕
The doggy is so cute constantly wanting to play lol
i had a silkie, she was chronically stupid but i loved her, so your comment about them being notoriously dopey was so spot on
Lucky is just so precious!! I love when dogs politely ask to play. And….ahhhhh! Chickens! They are so fluffy!
Omg as if I wasn’t ALREADY in love with your sweet puppy!!
You're such a good chicken mama. Over there teaching them how to walk up the ramp lol 😆 I loved that part
You and Sam are hilarious when you too work together 😂
Love you guys! So positive and fun. Your little silkies are ground bound. No flying or climbing for them. Just not in their skill set. Really like your new chicken house
I have never been as invested in chickens as I am now 😍😁 Alex could honestly make a video about nothing and I would still watch it. I just LOVE seeing her happy 😊♥️
I used to have 4 pet chickens, and this is a great chicken coop! Chickens love having space to socialise. Also, their own space for laying eggs.
I about peed myself with you dubbing over the neighbor dogs barks it got me right in the giggle spot. Thank you!
You showing them how to walk up and down the ramp was so cute!! Had me giggling the whole time!!
your bird of paradise plants are absolutely gorgeous. The chicken on the ladder must be renamed supervisor.
Alex is living the cottagecore life
This is the cutest coop I've seen. Well worth the price.
I love that in the subtitles when one of the chickens was angy ab their old coop,
It said *laughing* instead of clucking or something 🤣
Lachie is BEST HELPER.
So excited for part 2.
10 minutes of Lucki taking over the video. Lmao He's so cute. That's a cool chicken coop!
This is not building a chicken coop its how main times he accidentally hurts you video.🤣😍 love the dog needing his/her ball thrown.
This is the best video ever ! Ty so much for the chickens they are so cute 🥰 and I’m so happy to see you again I hope the break was good for you and took time for yourself. Love from Canada/Québec
