Patrick and the Chiefs didn't play their best tonight but Zach Wilson played a hell of a game. That was super fun to watch and I'm glad it wasn't a blowout
Also was great to see his teammates consoling him at the end of it. With all of the hate he's been getting and all of the pressure he's been under, he definitely put up a show. Hopefully, they use this as fuel to do well the rest of the season, starting with the Broncos next week.

The amount of holding penalties I’ve seen by the chiefs that weren’t called is crazy
and then the holding that was called on the jets with that interception. wasn'T even really a Holding and that lost them the game.

The missed holding against Johnson at 13:05 and the phantom hold on Gardner that reversed an interception doomed the Jets on the final drive.

They also missed several holding calls on sauce including the other one on mvs they pulled away from that highlight as soon as it was about to be shown man had a whole handful of his jersey
Even though the last two calls were bad and cost us a final drive, the Jets also dropped a touchdown pass, missed a field goal, and that fumble by Zach hurt a lot. Thats also not knocking him Zach had a day, loved to see it
Really egregious hold there at 13:05 but, basic question about American football here, isn’t holding extremely common along a defensive line? In other words, isn’t it just a matter of what you’re able to get away with?

Given that chiefs had lost more total yardage due to penalties AND threw 2 interceptions, the fact remains the jets didn't have what it took to win this game. They were handed far too many opportunities, the chiefs offense played poorly, and the jets should have had a solid point lead, going into the 4th yet they didn't... let's face it, they're still figuring themselves out, they aren't going to go anywhere this season.
Of course…that particular fan base is so predictable: when you lose, always blame the refs. It was a clear and obvious illegal contact penalty. Anyone remotely trying to be objective could see that fact.

I agree. The Jets are coming around. They have a very fast defensive squad that will keep games close and will hopefully continue to allow Wilson to develop. Mind you I'm not a fan. I just appreciate competitive teams, and always want to acknowledge quality performances. Wilson had a good game. The Jets had a good game. The defensive holding call in the 4th was a hold because the ref called it a hold. Whether I agree or not is irrelevant. And I don't ascribe to the notion that one good or bad call is the determinant of a contest. If a team has put themselves in the position in which that is possible then they lost the game before the call was made. Period.

Jets gave the Chiefs all they could handle. Wilson did an awesome job at quarterback. You can't fault his overall game play beacuse of one mistake.

That holding call took the Jets momentum away. Zack Wilson proves he has the talent something else has to be going that causes him to be inconsistent. I think he needs someone like Aaron Rodgers to mentor him and help him stay motivated and be a team player. He needs to change his attitude and work on getting the guys in the locker room on his side again when a team plays together like they did in this game it makes a big difference.

Holding call was not correct. It doesn’t mean KC would have lost, but it was not correct. If it was correct you wouldn’t see a coach take a penalty on the sideline after the game yelling for 5 straight minutes about it. If you wanna see a hold watch mahomes 20 yard run. Wilson showed a lot of maturity and field awareness. He's finally maturing into a good NFL quarterback. The Jets are building something special in New York. All they need is one or two more impact players on offense.

Not a fan of either team, but I didn't like the DPI call on Sauce Gardner. It was borderline, but they had been allowing worse contact . To call it then with the game on the line really surprised me. Zach had a decent game except for that costly fumble. Maybe there is hope for him. He does have an arm, and he has some mobility afterall. Maybe just needs more experience.
