At the very least the box set would have benefited from an approach closer to that of the Sky Man; its light on the Master there but his presence better contrasts with that of the main characters than Call for the Dead and his calm demeanor becomes effectively creepier the worse the situation gets. Pippa Haywood does a solid job in her role as Teremon, but her status as the antagonist feels like it dilutes the War Master's more chilling verbal influence, and the writing of her scenes just can't compare to the hypnotic ruthlessness Jacobi gets to wield in his monologues.
