This channel is not as popular, so I had to scroll down 100500 videos to get to this one, and I'm glad I did.

and more to the point, do you have any suggestion for training the feet during the cold season? during the warm one to stat barefoot was easy, now it’s chilly.

i think this is the single most important skill you have to master to walk fluently and without pain.

The knees should stay in place when pronating, or eventually you'll have to replace the joints.

Hi there, not sure if you watched the video or you can just watch your own limb but in what’s known as “pronation expression” there is a rotation from the foot to the hip and even tilt of the pelvis. If the knee doesn’t allow this movement then the hip will not rotate either. All are necessary for efficient foot to hip mechanics.
If you have too much motion coming from the foot or hip causing excessive pronation then you can lose control and therefore the knee dives in. You see this often with people with bunions, loss of foot strength and weakened hips.
Purpose of the video is to create and find greater control of your foot to hip mechanics so as you said, things like knee replacements are less likely in the future.

Hi @daedae181 im so sorry I never saw this comment until now! All of these exercises are good for both pronation and supination. Really focus on the control into and out of supination if that's your focus :)

I cannot find the best cushioned sneakers and wondering what you suggest for planter fascitis

Hi there, plantar fasciitis is often a symptom of weakened intrinsic foot muscles. Exercises in this video would be helpful as well as the short foot exercise. Cushioned shoes exacerbate symptoms as they continue to weaken the foot and not allow the foot to feel the ground.
As a transition shoe, I recommend Altra. My favorite minimal shoe is Be Lenka.

Plus, I have over pronation feet. My sneakers all go out to outside of my sneakers
