My buddy just brought one of these on a group camping trip in bald Eagle state park PA and while it poured rain he lit this up under an awning and it worked awesome in lieu of a camp fire.

I just set flat griddle topper on fire can or cast iron skillet etc on top of can, also small grates for griddle top to keep off grill plate! many option with out spending another $100.00

If I was camping that would be handy. Right now in Southeast Texas it’s close to 100° with the heat index well above camping is out of the question

Did you burn the seal in the lid, I understand you do not use the lid when you have fire?
