Canadian High Arctic

- This video is a sequel to the one describing my journey to Greenland aboard the Russian icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikov. Part II takes us to the Canadian High Arctic which is sparsely inhabited and where the icy fingers of winter are already making their presence felt.
i really dig documentaries like this...the narrator isn't annoying and it's slow paced.
I am American and I enjoy watching beautiful Canada 😊
On a Russian Ship 😅
I’m SOOO excited I found this channel! 🤗💃🏽🕺🏽🥳 The best thing I’ve seen on YT yet! Bravo 👏
What a trip, God is real because all that beauty didn't just happen, Wow!!!
Tony Fleming's videos are some of the best I have ever found. They are informative and beautiful. Almost makes cold weather and ice bearable!
Mr. Fleming, your video's are part of the reason that UA-cam is so invaluable. Makes me wonder why I even bother with cable. Perhaps if I cancel my cable subscription then one day I may be a little closer to being able to afford one of your yachts.
I've always been fascinated by these places, thanks so much for taking us along for the ride in such an enjoyable and affordable way!
This was a beautifully photographed and narrated travel documentary about the Canadian High Arctic. Thanks for the upload, and for all those who assisted making the video.
Thank you for these fascinating pictures.
Sir Tony Fleming. Once again, I thank you. I shivered to the imagined "icy fingers of winter" and stood in awe at the "sparsely inhabited" Canadian High Arctic: its waters so blue and its snow covered mountains with low lying cloud hovering above them. I marveled most at the music and your voice, both hauntingly beautiful, when you stood at the foot of Devon Island..."The towering bastion of rock reminds us again of our insignificance!"
Your film and narration, with your choice of music, is very enjoyable, thank you. You seem to have an extra ingredient which I have no name for, which made my experience of your journey quite magical.
Again I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this video series. Thank you for allowing a home bound old lady to travel to places Ive always dreamed of seeing.
THIS IS THE MOST WONDERFUL AND AMAZING TRAVEL DOCUMENTARY I HAVE EVER SEEN!. THANK YOU. - I watch all your Venture Boats trips (Aleutians, Alaska, British Columbia, Europe, Ireland, England, California, Idaho, New York). All videos are properly edited and perfectly presented. All landscapes, scenes, nature, blue sky, grey sky, deep blue sea make me feel so good. It is very soothing and entertaining. Whenever I am stressed out in my life, I always go to watch your sailing videos and it comfort me a lot. - I enjoy watching all your videos (on my 72" flat screen TV - SONY) all time, every weekend from my home in Los Angeles. Even though I am not fortunate like you to circumnavigate the globe and travel on own boat, your sea journey and wonderful voyage videos have brought many delights and good feeling to me. We all ordinary people are grateful to you (Gratitude) for your generous and wonderful presentations. Thank you.
The local PBS station in Oceanside, California (KOCT) has been presenting your journeys for some time and I only recently moved here and discovered them. I have been both impressed and moved by them and have been inspired as well. I have enjoyed many Saturday evening broadcasts of your cruises and look forward to more. Thank you, Sir Fleming.
This trip is not for the weak and I cannot imagine the difficulty of fighting elements, but it’s so beautiful I forgot to breathe a few times. And of course best documentary on UA-cam.
I've watched quiet a few of your videos. They are all very entertaining, educational and easy on the eyes and ears. Very professional in all aspects. Camerawork, well written and excellent narration.
Thank you so very much, your videos are so enjoyable.
great!
I watch Jaw Tooth and your videos every day. great job... i love your boats.
Thank you. Your film was smoothly edited. Your music was soft and gentle, and strong when needed. Your voice was beautiful, a perfect ribbon to tie the parts into a whole. Thank you again!!
Thank you for these two films. Sharing in your experience was breathtaking and inspiring. I hope someday I could also embark on such an expedition. Cheers!
Nice work Mr Fleming. Thanks.
Magnificent. I've always been enchanted by remote and desolate places. I don't believe I'd want to brave the cold being I already reside in Minnesota. Our winters are fierce and long enough. However, just seeing these lands even on film is special. After six years in New Mexico, too, yes, it is a gift to be a part of a vast land where we are indeed insignificant in the overall scheme of life.
Beautifully shot scenery. Great Fleming yachts and equally great skill as a documentarian. Thank you for sharing these journeys.
So calm, so cold, so cruel
Amazing video! Thank you for your work!
Great video and wonderful voice/narration. Thank you very, very much for sharing.
Masterful travelogue. Kudos!
What a great video, What amazing natural light in that part of the world.
I am partially snowblind from just watching!
Wonderful to share your journey, thank you Mr. Fleming.
As a nurse, I want to know more about the resident nurse who provides care with the support of one MD visit per year. Wow.
Thank you Tony. For taking me on such a wonderful vacation/exposidition
GREAT VIDEO THANK YOU
Wonderful video FlemingYachts! Informative, classy, fantastic camerawork! Thank you for taking me to places I would never go to as I loathe the cold!
What a beautiful, cold, barren place! But more beautiful than so many other places!!! Pristine!!!
I would love to see the Aurora Borealis from that cruise ship!
Just magnificent video and spectacular narration.
Thank you Mr. Fleming!!!
Yes, beauty, Aurorae, healthy, cold clear air, plenty of snow; some such line was no doubt fed to those unlucky Inuit as they were forcibly packed off 1000 miles north to satisfy Canadian territorial ambitions. Human history is replete with such sad stories. A wonderful video, but the expulsion of the native people is my abiding memory of it.
Minute 17:07. Astronaut Chris Hatfield is sitting at the lower left table facing the camera, wearing red hat. I'd recognize that great guy anywhere.
Well spotted! I imagine he's someone who is not un-familiar with traveling in Russian vehicles, If you get my meaning. 🚀
Norm from tested too
Wow! I was watching it and thought, ' Holy crap that guy looks like Chris Hadfield. Must be a coincidence.' Then I saw your comment.
I confirmed that IS him. There are some articles about his trip.
It's Hadfield. Not Hatfeld
Indeed he is most recognizable. So that is what astronauts do on vacation. Why not.
Thank you for sharing this journey.
Kindred spirits. Beautiful video.
Thank you once again for such a wonderful video !
What a fantastic documentary.

"The Canadian flag already looking the worse for wear". This comment aged well. Perhaps inverted would be more appropriate. Great video Tony F.

Where is part one ?...this is magic with very nice music and narration.
Rather misleading, it is titled "Cruise to Greenland aboard icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikov".
Awesome thx

Ну..Ничего не могу сказать...Севера у буржуев ухоженые..Нам еще далеко до таких отношений с природой.Очень красиво..
That is what I call a cruise.

Looks Depressing🥲
How you take Dump ??? on ground or what ?? Or do you carry around big box chair like queen of England /
Russia is not allowed to fly in Canadian airspace, however, when the Canadian ice-breakers get stuck in the ice Russian ice-breakers come to their rescue.
