Venture II visits Iceland

- This journey took place in 2010 and, although other videos are already uploaded describing our visits to the west and north coasts of that country, this one seems to have been missed. It has proved popular on the UHD Vyou channel on the Roku platform so here it is.
What a gift to really see these beautiful water ways on the East and West coast!

Do you eat the small horses? I didnt notice any cattle or sheep or hogs there
@@chadsimmons6347 there ARE cattle, and lots of Iceland: the country is famous for its huge stock of sheep. And yes, some of the horses are kept for eating, others for riding, and some for competition and shows

Wife and I just went to Seattle troller Fest two weeks ago and one of the nicest boats there was a Fleming's phenomenal engine room was so huge the workmanship in would work was so impressive an awesome awesome boat and always thank you for your awesome videos

Venture II is the tool that inspires me to keep selling my wife that boat ownership is way more than “a hole in the water you pour money in” its having someone take you to their favorite secrete spot that no tourist will ever see. I've seen nearly all of your work on UA-cam. Your yacht is beautifully engineered. You are the most fortunate human being on this planet. I would enjoy seeing you in restaurants in foreign countries because I am a San Franciscan re-located to Idaho. Although there are great restaurants in McCall, I love seeing foreign cuisine. THANK YOU. - I watch all your Venture Boats trips (Aleutians, Alaska, British Columbia, Europe, Ireland, England, California, Idaho, New York). All videos are properly edited and perfectly presented. All landscapes, scenes, nature, blue sky, grey sky, deep blue sea make me feel so good. It is very soothing and entertaining. Whenever I am stressed out in my life, I always go to watch your sailing videos and it comfort me a lot. - I enjoy watching all your videos (on my 72" flat screen TV - SONY) all time, every weekend from my home in Los Angeles. Even though I am not fortunate like you to circumnavigate the globe and travel on own boat, your sea journey and wonderful voyage videos have brought many delights and good feeling to me. We all ordinary people are grateful to you (Gratitude) for your generous and wonderful presentations. Thank you.

The trip to Iceland was made in 2010
Some quite interesting design features on vessels. A bulbous bow on small craft! A side deck which turns into a catwalk at the beam. Trailing transoms reminiscent of high speed pleasure craft.
Our earth is full of wonders and sights to see. You have seen more of them than almost anyone. Thank you for sharing your beautiful experiences with us, mere mortals...land lubbers...and old farts.

I have had your channel in my UA-cam recommendations several times and did not take the suggestion up. That is not a mistake I will make again! This is a beautifully created documentary, as good as anything from the BBC or Attenborough. For a boat builder, you make one hell of a cinematographer!

I really enjoyed the Venture trip to the Aleutians! That video reminded me of an Amazon docu-series where some guys left Seattle on jet skis in an attempt to cross the Bering Sea. The drone shots were awesome, so be sure to add more drone footage, Thanks.

I noticed that there seems to be a type of seafarers hospitality among boaters of all sizes and shapes. That is nice to see. I think Iceland is very unique and interesting, beautiful; but I still believe the areas you covered in your Alaska trip aboard Venture I were more beautiful and majestic.
