This is wild. Wordgirl says idiot and imbecile Tobey and Becky discover each other out Tobey calling himself a naughty boy Becky catching on that Tobey called her beautiful Lore of Tobey's mom Self-insert of PBS EVEN MORE 4TH WALL BREAKS
wait i love this show we need a reboot. but like a well made one and not like icarly or something. also can we talk about how satisfying the way they talk in this show?? i know its not the best quality in this video but like the one where becky kicks in scoops’ news room door. like the sounds and dialogues are just so nice.
Anyone notice how WordGirl kind of had an hourglass figure (for a 9-year-old?) in the Amazing Colossal Adventures of WordGirl shorts before her redesign in the WordGirl series- Idk if they redid it on purpose or not but it seems like in the comments I’m the only one who noticed that? 0:13
I noticed that too! I never thought it was odd though, plenty of girls in my school when I was in 4th grade had a sort of hourglass shape, Including me! I assume they changed it maybe so then drawing and animating her might be a bit easier. Just a guess though
@@user-ek3xz8je2y Usually the average female hits puberty between the ages of 10 and 13. I started mine in 4th grade as well, 2 weeks after I turned 10
Yeah I see it. It makes sense tho that they got rid of it. I mean plenty of young girls have a figure; and if you’re gunna put anyone in a body suit shape becomes apparent. But something tells me the PBS said let’s avoid giving the child shape even if it’s reasonably accurate since we want to avoid pedophiles making rule 34. So while her having an hourglass figure is rooted in reality I think I agree with them getting rid of her curves to assumably avoid a certain type of audience.
I gotta admit that "We only watch PBS" line is really clever. Especially since PBS kids shows are so much more diverse in design, storytelling, and overall tone than the same junk that gets pushed onto Cartoon network and Nickelodeon these days.
That PBS insert is the suavest 4th wall break I have ever seen in any show
0:58 4th wall break
and will never be seen again
Only the greats can do a stick like that.
She broke the 4th wall so hard the pixelation glitched out 😱
why didn’t you just say i’m a naughty boy 💀💀💀
My exact Reaction: 💀

Even the announcer had to clear his throat after the break lol
This is wild.

I kinda miss the old flash moments they had
I didn't know wordgirl was flash animated
Breaking the fourth wall, another of Becky's myriad superpowers.

There were 3 seasons so.. It went pretty long maybe a movie tho.
@@nyanya2757There were 8, only 3 are on UA-cam.
8 seasons
So PBS is just paying the show creator, producer, and executive saying their network channel…ok 😂
cartoons break the 4th wall all the time so....
@@eeveefennecfox I mean yeah i get it, but still 😂
recorded on a school chromebook /j
but fr, this show breaks so many 4th walls at times to the point that there’s not fourth wall
How isn't tobey known by wordgirl when he even wears the same clothes every day
Origin ep

Excellent, for 2 minutes it was pretty wild. Thank you!
WAIT WAIT WAIT why was tobey so anxious for becky to call him a naughty boy?
0:56 We only watch PBS!
4TH WALL BREAK

What ia the episodes name
Wow…. I am highly disturbed
The narrotore sounds Darren Norris
He kinda does, but that's Chris Parnell as The Narrator, not Darren Norris.
What season is this? @
Season 0, These where shorts that aired after Maya and Miguel, Prior to the show airing
It's a 2006 short
Only word I don't know is rodish or rodis whatever they said.
Roguish - rogue + ish:
1. unprincipled, unscrupulous, immoral
"he was a roguish, uncaring person"
2. playful, mischievous
"she had a roguish grin"
Hold up, did he really figure it out? Cause later in the series its not confirmed, he just is always trying to figure out wordgirl's secret identity.
He does, but later in the episode she pulls some ploy to trick him into thinking its impossible for her to be Wordgirl.
