Love how in depth Steph goes with every detail, for example, the RPMs used, as well as her application and using a tip for a smile line is genius "staying in good practice" ✌🏼💖
That is spectacular! I have been struggling with my own smile lines on my own hands. I have the tool to cut the smile but what a pain it is to use. This is genius. Can't wait to try it next time I do my nails. 😊
I just started posting videos and learning to do nails on UA-cam. I’m self teaching so if anyone wants to watch and give me tips I NEED some tips. I love using young nails and watching their videos. They are so informative and helpful. The progress I usually get is because I JUST finished watching a video. I need so much work and practice
If you have built your structure correctly and created a crisp smile line, you can use a hand file to file the surface and the smile line you created will come through. It may be a little more work with a hand file than efile, but it will work.
Thanks for this tip because i have trouble doing the smile lines it never comes out perfect . I'll have to try your nail hack to see if i can get a perfect smile line
For quick salon length nails I have to admit I’ve used a smile line cutter. For longer nail beds I sculpt them according to the nails shape and length. I do like those sets that only have one or two smile line nails on each hand as fun nails.
Andrea Whisenant I’ve only been a nail tech for 5 months, but I knew there had to be a tool to cut the perfect smile line! I have a wheel that cuts the deep smile line that is popular right now
Omg 😱 thank you so much I’ll try this in about 10 mins but I still want know how to do this without using a tool. Lastnight I was frustrated because I couldnt get It right.
This hack had been around for a long time. Discount salons have been using this for at least 15 years that I know of. Still a good hack though. I liked how you showed and said to drain the liquid out of your brush. It's very rare to see that being done in videos. Good thing Sally doesn't have sensitive/allergy resistant skin. All that monomer on the skin😢😢😢
If you are filing off your white, you are most likely not building up your pink thick enough or if you are doing a base layer of clear/pink acrylic underneath, this layer may be too thick. Here's a great video to show you the proper structure when building the nail. Make sure to watch around 2:57 to see the ideal thickness/structure. ua-cam.com/video/_8-EJXkcdIY/v-deo.html
Please please I hate fills on pink and whites... can you do a video on fills for pink and whites? I got the pink.. just have problems with the white. If you already did this just let me know... have short attention span these days....👀👀😷🤪
They did do a few videos of this a while ago, you can get a drill bit too for infills that enables you to cut a fresh white smile line but you can also do it with a normal drill bit.. if you look through yn videos you will find what you're looking for and if you can't find it let me know and I will help.

I definitely do snuggle with smile lines. They aren't my favorite but yet I know I need to get it done because you never know who might want it.

Quick question why did u add the protein bond after the filled nail was done. What does that do?
It's so the top coat doesn't chip and last longer!
What a great hack ! Thanks
You're welcome!
Mind blown!!
So awesome. Can you do this with polygel too?
Not sure as that's not a product we carry so I'm not familiar

Great hack! Thank you so much!
You are so welcome!
I would like to know if the smile lines will pop through if I was using a hand file? Thank you for all the lessons 💕

Great video!!!! Do have one if you using gel polish?
Gel polish hack would be just paint it on.
should you go a size up or down with nail tip? and also are yo holding the tip backwards?
Genius hack! I will definitely be trying it
Nice

You can do it!
Yes it looked easy to do beautiful ❤️ it
Ohhh yes thank you!!
Hi so no clear encapsulated is necessary for this ??
So can you use protein bond and then the primer before applying the acrylic
You replace primer with protein bond
YoungNailsInc ok thank you so much
Beautiful
Why did you put the bond on again right before the top coat? (Honest question)
Cassi B. Prevents chipping or peeling of top coat
@@youngnailsinc I never would have thought of that!
Oh my God I always struggle with smile line that’s amazing
Who knew?! Thanks for this.
Can you do smile lines with dualforms?
Worth a try!
I needed this
I be trying this
Thanks for this tip because i have trouble doing the smile lines it never comes out perfect . I'll have to try your nail hack to see if i can get a perfect smile line
You can do it!

TFS! Can u share ideas for gel smile lines?
More videos coming daily!
Steph is the lady who knows the easiest way to do everything
Haha honestly it comes from being kind of lazy lol but we'll call it "inventive" lol
@@youngnailsinc 😂
Hi there, love your technique of smile line. Do you always put on a second coat of Protein Bond before Gellish Top Coat? With thanks!
2 coatsunder an enhancement like acrylic or hard gel, one coat under gel polish
Genius!!
Yes great video thanks
You bet
For quick salon length nails I have to admit I’ve used a smile line cutter. For longer nail beds I sculpt them according to the nails shape and length. I do like those sets that only have one or two smile line nails on each hand as fun nails.
Andrea Whisenant I’ve only been a nail tech for 5 months, but I knew there had to be a tool to cut the perfect smile line! I have a wheel that cuts the deep smile line that is popular right now
I just bought one for my one and only acrylic client who gets pink and whites. She's going to love it when we get back to work.
Totally agree, love a deep sculpted smile line.
Perfect
Omg 😱 thank you so much I’ll try this in about 10 mins but I still want know how to do this without using a tool. Lastnight I was frustrated because I couldnt get It right.
Any estimate on when y'alls acrylic brushes might be back in stock? :)
ASAP!
I'm curious if there are any hacks for doing smile lines with hard gel? I don't have any problems doing smile lines but I'm just curious ❤
Best "hack" I would say for gel is just to paint the smile rather than sculpt
My jaw dropped when I saw the nail tip!!!thank you so much for this🙏🙏❤️
Welcome!
If anyone could answer this: why does she put the protein bond before top coat. I thought that was the primer you put after prep/dehydrater
Wow thank you I really bought a smile line cutter and it didn’t work at all I’m trying this later!
holy moly. BONUS.
Can you do a square smile line
How about gel nail?
Unfortunately, you cannot do this hack with gel due to it's self-leveling nature.
That's a great Hack! I don't suppose you can do it with gel? Lol
Not likely as the gel would move
This hack had been around for a long time. Discount salons have been using this for at least 15 years that I know of.
Still a good hack though.

Good thing Sally doesn't have sensitive/allergy resistant skin. All that monomer on the skin😢😢😢
Yep, def an oldie but goodie! Thanks for watching
When I do this and go to file, the white files off why/

Since I’m new ........ what other kind of smile lines are there??
Sculpted, tips, or painting on. Lots of ways to acheive a smile line
YoungNailsInc I’ll search YN videos. Thank you.
Is there a difference between sculpted smile lines vs the cut out. You made it seem like the sculpted was better, just wondering why 😊
It gives a different look for sure. This is not necessarily to replace traditional methods just a kind of like cheat way
Yay
Thank you, i love learning from the best. #TEAMYN
Our pleasure!
Someone has thought of the children!!!
💋💋💋❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍
lol
Man this is what I wanted so baddddd but No one can do this for me in my small town
Heck yea I struggle....."the struggle is real"!!...A REAL PAIN IN THE ASS!! LOL but thanks much luv!!
❤️❤️
So after yesterday's comments from Tracey saying she doesn't like doing a smile line maybe you should teach her this hack !
Haha just making things easier
I wanted to learn smile line without using that cutter as it feels like cheating but may give this a go don’t seem that much like cheating Loool 🤦🏾♀️
Just try it! It really does help get that clean line!
I'm never doing sculpting again! :D
Please please I hate fills on pink and whites... can you do a video on fills for pink and whites? I got the pink.. just have problems with the white. If you already did this just let me know... have short attention span these days....👀👀😷🤪

Ayyyy 4th up
Sally not producing much oil 😂😂😂😂😂
lol
Snap girl I think you dropped something … my jawwww
she seems a bit like this is a huge hassle for her to have come to work that day
She looks like Ravens wife
Honey that is way too much for something so simple not impressed whatsoever
wow, she seems really bored doing this to me. its a pity, cause some beginners will find this content intresting. has a negative touch.
Sorry you felt that way, maybe the next video will be better for you
